I don't know if Biden is stable or not, he pretty much vanished after being sworn in, I guess the fact everything is smooth and quiet reflects a form of stability, Like I have said it really won't effect me who wins but I do think all people should be held accountable and to the law, tRump thinks he's above the law his subjects agree. Trump has said if he wins 2024 he will rule as a dictator and abolish the constitution now that isn't putting the country and it's people first that's tRump putting himself first that I do have issues with and of the many times I've posted that not once has anyone defended that he won't or can't do that.

Buttigieg is, however, still a believer. Yeah, i read about that. Like multiple billions allocated in 2022, and today, like 8 stations have been set up. There was supposed to be 500,000 stations. All the power plants for the local power company installed them and I watched one of the roaming Engineers plug his EV into it. Stopped at a commercial one on I-35 headed towards Minneapolis. Here's the list for Iowa: Find EV Charging in Iowa | PlugShare Looks like we have -800 charge stations here. Edit to add: Now that I actually clicked and poked around my own link, it seems that most places aren't gas stations. They are at non-typical places like the Library, State Parks, and other government type buildings. The auto dealerships. Our local grocery store has some stations. Hmm. One of the local hotels has a station in their lot. I wonder if the charge ups are free? Edited May 30, 2024 by Gromdor

The ones i read about were specifically Federally funded in their construction. This article says 7. https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-solutions/2024/03/28/ev-charging-stations-slow-rollout/ Quote But now, more than two years after Congress allocated $7.5 billion to help build out those stations, only 7 EV charging stations are operational across four states. I actually read the article, The article mentioned increased minimum wage but didn't say it caused this closing, so the title of the article is misleading and actually two things that might not even be related when one reads this... I've seen +$20 starting salaries at California fast food restaurants for years now. In other words, restaurants were already paying more than the minimum wage to retain workers. It's the trouble with living in an expensive area that has to subsidize a bunch of other states. High COL. It's okay, we make the sacrifice to help less fortunate states.
