China is destroying our world, and no one seems to mind.

China is destroying our world, literally. The nation that spews the most pollution while currently building hundreds of coal-fired power plants all over the world is also the one that dumps the most plastic and unrecoverable garbage into our oceans and eco system. China is doing all this while winning accolades from the media about joining the fraudulent “Paris agreement” and from NGOs like Greenpeace and WWF for its efforts to “fight global warming” and “steer an eventual path away from fossil fuels”, all being ridiculous lies.

Since 2011, China has consumed more coal than the rest of the world combined. China's carbon dioxide emissions passed those of the U.S. in 2005, and by 2012 had surpassed the combined contribution of both the U.S. and the EU. Should recent trends continue, China will be responsible for the most atmospheric carbon dioxide in less than 20 years.

Chinese apologists and the media are always trying to mask China's pollution by using the ridiculous criteria of “pollution per capita”. Why is it ridiculous?

Using this criteria makes Luxemburg seems like a bigger polluter than China.

"The “Highly insufficient” rating indicates that China’s fair share target in 2030 leads to rising, rather than falling, emissions and is not in line with any interpretation of a fair approach to meeting the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C limit. If all countries were to follow China’s approach, warming could reach over 3°C and up to 4°C."

The UK is doing its bit:

Key elements in the Net Zero package included:

New guidance for banks could make it harder for people with poorly insulated homes to get a mortgage;

Ministers ducked a decision on whether to press ahead with a major new nuclear power station at Sizewell C in Suffolk;

The Government announced an extra £620million to drive sales of electric vehicles, despite Treasury warnings the subsidies were likely to disproportionately benefit the well-off;

A further £625million has been set aside for planting trees and restoring peat bogs to soak up carbon;

Ministers confirmed plans to put new 'green levies' on gas bills 'when the current gas spike subsides';

Cyclists will get a boost, with thousands of miles of new bike lanes and plans for more 'low-traffic neighbourhoods' where cars are excluded;

Ministers want Britain to become a world leader in developing 'alternative proteins' to encourage people to eat less meat;

New £5,000 grants to encourage people to install heat pumps

Nations like China are discovering that meeting goals for cutting carbon emissions can stall economic growth to where the regime itself is at peril.

Forced to choose between what is best for the country now and what is better for mankind in some indeterminate future, leaders are putting the needs of the nation today over the call of the world of tomorrow.

I think it's just the common psychological thing where we get more angry at people similar to us who do things we don't like than people who are completely different.

In this case people means government types.
