Still Waters Posted October 24, 2021 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2021 Dubai officially opened the world's largest and tallest ferris wheel on Thursday, as part of an initiative to bolster the city's status as a major tourism hub. It's known as the "Dubai Eye" and stands at 250m. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-middle-east-59024669 00:23 Video

+and-then Posted October 27, 2021 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2021 I'd go for it if it wasn't in one of the most hostile climates on the planet. Oh yeah, and it gets REALLY HOT there too

+Razman Posted November 2, 2021 #5 Share Posted November 2, 2021 Probably ego driven. Be cool though , if they could make one of these eye wheels look like an actual eyeball.
Abramelin Posted November 27, 2021 #6 Share Posted November 27, 2021 Probably built using slaves.
Rascal01 Posted December 3, 2021 #7 Share Posted December 3, 2021 We can ballpark 250 meters at 750 feet. Military parachute gums for training are normally done at 1250 feet. This ferris wheel is high enough to easily qualify for making a combat jump. I’ll skip the ride being a former paratrooper. If something breaks you could really be jammed up.
