The same kind of warped mind that would come up with this and call it an experiment is the same kind of warped mind that would fund it, and likely the same kind of warped mind that, you know,  would mandate experimental drugs on the worlds population just to see what happens.

Fauci and company are not funding research they are funding monsters, if you read the 12 key traits common in serial killers and have listen to him on news shows, being questioned in Congress etc... it seems he has most all of those traits.

Good to see you raising your voices on this issue now.  When people (mostly hippies and lefties)  were trying to end monkey and primate experimentation in the US primate centers  (2015) it would have been good to have more support. It is great you have  become aware of the issue.  Maybe you can maintain enough interest to help stop some of the worst  stuff still going on  in the US.

• Mice are given doses of a chemical (such as an ingredient in perfume or glass cleaner) until half of the group of mice die—in a test called LD50 (lethal dose 50%)—to study how harmful the chemical might be to humans.
• Cats have their spinal cords damaged and are forced to run on treadmills to study how nerve activity might affect human limb movement.

I’ve sporadically during my life heard about such things but assumed those cruelties had been relegated to the past in the US. I think It’s an issue of media coverage. You might notice that when people hear about this stuff, they post about it,

Because at that time, there were a pretty small number of people. I don't think it was left or right, Republican or Democrat, just people that were uncomfortable about what seemed like torturing animals and a whole lot of people supporting it  saying it was necessary or only snowflakes cared about it, and definitely not much interest from Congress before 2020...  There can always be more voices raised on this and maybe this is one issue that is not bound by sides. It is not over. yet   I can understand that  a pig kidney can be transferred into a dying human to  keep them alive, I just don't like causing pain to see what happens.  It wasn't until 2019-2020 that some of this stuff came up in Congress.  So I'd say I'm glad it's here, but it's been a long time coming.

NIH, VA, and a couple of government agencies still do animal research.  This is happening right here in the US. The 2020 budget put in some restrictions, but less than were  originally proposed.  As you might imagine China and some other countries have far less restraint.  And that may  be a reason as to why  NIC wants to fund research in other countries.

Here in Iowa, the Republicans passed the "Ag-Gag" law to criminalize people reporting animal cruelty.  The latest was ruled unconstitutional back in January but is still in courts: Eighth Circuit Upholds Part of Iowa “Ag Gag” Law – Animal Law Developments (duanemorris.com)

Animal cruelty continues and is sanctioned by the powers that be.  Can't cut into the bottom line of businesses like puppy mills, cattle, dairy, pork, chicken, turkey, etc.

It has been, but necessity is decreasing rapidly.  Lab tissue cultures, organs, and cell simulators  are becoming capable of yielding test results.

It’s not, actually. The only way to know if a product is safe for humans is human trials. You’ll note, for example, dogs can be bitten by certain snakes and survive, based on “evidence from that experiment” a human could survive a similar bite. It’s lethal to us. 
Based on animal experiments Chocolate is a dangerous, potentially lethal, substance.

The same treatment needs to be applied to all involved. If Fauci really is aware of the torture, I'll spring for his head cage myself. Never had a problem with him despite Americans hating on him before, this however is sub human behaviour. It's honestly hard to believe he was aware of what was going on. If he did know, he should be packing up his desk right now.

Everyone involved should be named shamed and jailed. Most dogs are better than most people.
