A bloke has buried himself on an Aussie beach with just his head poking out.

While this would hardly be news on a normal day, he also did it with $1,000 worth of chips scattered around his head.

Anyone who has been to a beach in Australia (or probably the world) will know that seagulls bloody love hot chips and they will scavenge the hell out of bins hoping for some discarded food.

So why anyone would want a bunch of birds to come dangerously close to their head while their entire body is buried is anyone's guess.

How insanely expensive are chips there? That pile in the video looks like maybe $40 worth. Did they source them by raiding every vending machine in the city and paying $2 each for tiny bags of them?

Dumb for so many reasons.

Dumb for so many reasons.

Had to have brought them from Maccas or HJs surely. That’s like $30 worth of chips from the local chippie.
