Thanks, Sojo!

We could see the cloud in the distance, and we were all just amazed. It was probably a one-time experience for us Iowans.

I’m in Montana for my nephew’s wedding this weekend. I flew in early to do some hiking and take a few photos. The clouds were really spectacular today.

This nature trail is right next to the city of Billings.

Another beautiful day in Montana. I did two short hikes in two different state parks.

Chief Plenty Coups SP is on the Crow Indian Reservation, and dedicated to honoring a well-respected tribal chief who helped bring peace between the Crow people and the white settlers. A home was built for him in the late 1800s, and is open to the public. I was the only person there - it was kind of eerie walking around in the house by myself, but it was an experience I’ll never forget.

I included the ‘non-nature’ photo of his chair in an upstairs bedroom. I can picture him sitting by an open window in the early morning hours, listening to the birds singing at dawn. Kinda like I do.

Nature has always been an important thing in my life a love given to me by my parents I think.Growing up in Scotland nature was easy and simple.I moved to Oz nearly 25 years ago where most of nature wants to either sting, bite or for ****s and giggles just eat you…..boy was that a ****ing eye opener but again you adapt and learn to love the nature that surrounds you…

Hi Bill. Is that a young bird or maybe a female? Why hasn't it got any wobbley bits under its chin?

I’m 99% sure it’s a female. It’s kind of mysterious though, because I usually see turkeys in groups. This one has been hanging around my yard by itself.

Maybe she is being shunned by the others because she hasn't got any wobbley chin pieces.

I've heard how people on video seem to appear a little bigger than they actually are, but I think it works really well for spiders!

Spiders used to give me the creeps because I was afraid of them when I was a child.

Thankfully, I have now overcome my fears of spiders. I am so brave now that I relocate spiders to our garden if I find them inside our home. 😄

It's actually quite amazing how our perception can change with time - our perceptions and feelings can evolve over time when we make sure to always learn and grow.

This ability to change our thoughts and feelings is a powerful aspect of us I think, and this is also about our survival - and our ability to continue to evolve.
