This thread shows user submitted screenshots of this amazing flight simulator.

It has been out for over a year now, and many bugs have been worked out of it, as well as many developer add-ons created for it.

What are the best WWII era flight simulators that will run on windows 10?  Any ideas, anyone?

General consensus is this:

https://il2sturmovik.com/store/battle-of-stalingrad/

But you can probably get it cheaper from Steam or other places.

You would just need to check the system requirements to see if you’ve got the hardware to run it.

What Timothy said. There are 4 Great Battle series around $49 each, and you can catch them on sale on steam once in a while, and these are huge maps, not tiny ones. Hundreds of kilometers each.

Battle of Moscow

Battle of Kuban

Battle of Stalingrad

Battle of Bodenplatte

And in the Spring Battle of Normandy

I own all 4 and like Battle of Bodenplatte the best because it is in the European theatre.

There are single player campaigns, missions, or even multiplayer and someone has created a dynamic campaign generator. lots of fun.

Tons of content being made for these games, and the flight models are awesome.
