Popular Post Still Waters Posted November 15, 2021 Popular Post #1 Share Posted November 15, 2021 A cow has reportedly escaped a slaughterhouse in Brazil and managed to make it into a neighbouring water park. According to the New York Post, this story takes place in Nova Granada, which is around 500 miles west of Rio de Janeiro. The cow, who was destined to be killed to have its meat harvested for consumption at a cattle ranch, managed to break free and it wandered around until it found the Indaia Club de Campo. It climbed some stairs until it found itself at the top of a water slide. https://www.ladbible.com/news/latest-cow-escapes-slaughterhouse-and-takes-water-slide-to-freedom-20211115 https://nypost.com/2021/11/13/brazilian-cow-set-for-slaughter-escapes-to-waterpark-and-rides-the-slide-video/ 2

Silver Posted November 16, 2021 #4 Share Posted November 16, 2021 I remember the Tamworth Two, Butch and Sundance, the two pigs that made a break for freedom while on their way to the slaughter house. They became internationaly famous, got a mention in parliament, and there was talk of a statue being erected to commemerate them. They both survived to live out their lives in a rare breeds sanctuary: Tamworth Two - Wikipedia

At a fair i saw a couple pigs work together to open both sides of a complex gate latch and get out, the teamwork and understanding of the mechanisms was impressive.
