Doctor charged with manslaughter after death of patient

Recommended Posts

An elderly NHS doctor has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a 48-year-old patient at a hospital.

Dr Isyaka Mamman, now 78, is accused of carrying out a routine medical procedure which resulted in the death of Shahida Varven in 2018.

The 48-year-old patient collapsed whilst giving a sample of her bone marrow at Royal Oldham Hospital in Greater Manchester, a court previously heard.

She died shortly after the procedure began.

I wonder why he was still working at such a skilled job at his age. I also wonder how often people who perform such procedures have physical exams. :(

What about all the patients locked in hospital because they're autistic, as if that means they need locked in for no reason.

what I mean is, they should be released. They're all locked in and there is nothing really of consequence wrong with them.
