Thing is trump has shown he has zero issues ranging from turning his back on right up to kicking people under the bus when it is to save his own bloated oily hide.

Ask goat boi or nancy desk photo bomber where their marmalade messiah is while they play hard to get at the club fed dances.

some might think it sounds insane but donny was taking all kinds of advice from rudi then that whole utterly riduculous release the kracken obsurb failure fell to pieces even that qnon lady lawyer when busted uses the defences no rational thinking person would have believed what she was selling, ( disclaimer, trump worshippers did and still believe what she was selling )

Rudi and donny were 1980s sf bath house tight but now what, donny is defunct lost biggly rudi lost the last slice of cheddar off his ritz a long time ago didnt he get disbarred? you can bet a crystal coke those silver spoons fear prison like a trump supporter fears science so does anyone think for a milisec dondon will be there for rudi when that house of cards falls?

Just a quick tip for those Republican oriented readers who just rely on their Facebook overlords or 'networks' like OAN... you might want to check mainstream media for some updates on what is happening, legally, in regard to this .... which is, out of interest, the ONLY example of evidenced election fraud in the 2020 election..  And it was, of course a Republican attempt to overthrow US democracy.

Sad, reprehensible, immoral and corrupt.

My only question is, why hasn't there been a new political party/movement created, you know, for the honest and moral Republicans that have seen they were hoodwinked?

Why didn’t the Democrats splinter and “make a new party” after losing their fight to keep slavery in the Civil War? Let’s assume they are all still vicious racist slavers. Because they obviously weren’t hoodwinked.

Actually the southern democrats began voting on the Republican ticket starting in the 1960, and that change has continued to this day!

That’s just a run-of-the-mill ordinary Democrat hoax.
Democrats have always been the party of racial oppression.

No myth only reality. It may be a good idea to read your sources because what you posted above doesn’t exactly support you comments!

The Twentieth-Century Reversal: How Did the Republican States Switch to the Democrats and Vice Versa?

The twentieth century reversal is not a simple story of vot- ers standing still and parties moving—the Republicans were the pro-business conservative party in the days of William McKinley and they remain that today. Nor is it an economic reversal of fortune: the industrial eastern and midwestern states that are rich today were even richer, relative to the rest of the country, at the beginning of the twentieth century. The parties’ coalitions have dissolved and reassembled, with blacks moving from the Republican to the Democratic Party, and southern and rural whites moving in the other direction. Examining patterns within states reveals that the reversal has happened at the state level but is more complicated locally. In the wake of suburban- ization, inner-city voters both rich and poor have become a more solid block for the Democrats than they ever were in the classic era of urban machine politics.
We are used to our current political divides, but in many ways the political alignment of 1896 also makes economic sense, with the richer northeastern states supporting more conservative eco- nomic policies. Many of the difficulties in understanding these patterns arise from a fundamental tension that voters in richer regions of the country can be more liberal than those in poorer regions, especially on social issues, a pattern we discussed in our Red State, Blue State book (Gelman et al. 2009).
Even in a world in which parties have static positions on issues, there is no obvious way that liberal New Yorkers, say, should vote: should they follow the 1896 pattern and support business-friendly policies that favor local industries, or should they vote as they do now and support higher taxes, which ultimately redistribute money to faraway states with more con- servative values? A similar conundrum befalls a conservative Mississippian or Kansan in the other direction.
In that sense, it perhaps is plausible that, although economic issues have been and remain most important in any particular election, social issues can be the determining factor that can, over a century, reverse the electoral map. The tentativeness of this conclusion implies there is room for further research on this topic, moving beyond the usual discussions of economic and racial politics.

Here some addition issues that explain how and when the Republican and Democratic ideology changed: The only myth is the story your telling right now, history doesn’t agree with your point of view!:D

Dan Goldman: Evidence shows Trump was involved in conspiracy to overturn election.

Of course he was. "If Mike Pence does the right thing, we win the election". It wasn't a matter of sending the already certified legal state electoral votes back for recounts, audits or other nonsense,

because that wouldn't win Trump the election. However rejecting them and using the fake certified state electors would have made Trump the winner.

Mike Pence during the rollcall mentioned them, and rejected them, so they were ready to go, right then, right there.

Trumps own words prove his guilt in this conspiracy. The man Isn't as smart as he likes to think, because he cannot keep his mouth shut.

The man betrayed his country, because using phony electors Isn't protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States.

El Midge, kudos for an incredible (and I do mean NOT CREDIBLE) effort to completely derail the discussion and deflect from the topic.  Feel free to start your own thread on your fantasy racist ideas, there's a good boy.

So ... practise some reading comprehension - REREAD the thread title, and stop throwing your poop at the fan.  It smells really bad.

The only way the country heals is Trump in federal prison. We let Nixon get off Scott free and the GOP learned nothing.

Yeah, sure thing…. I was responding directly to an argument you made. I guess I should have just said that a new party hasn’t been formed because the Democrats are delusional. TDS has you believing everything the very reliable MSM tells you.Today it’s absolute proof of significant election fraud. Yesterday, our elections were so secure that even questioning our elections was “rejecting democracy”. The day before that Trump was the puppet master of a coup d’etat. Before that He was a Russian puppet. I guess the real response to you would be to ask why haven’t the Democrats formed a new party made up of the few people on the left who aren’t total suckers?

The racism of the Democrats is legit though. It’s systemic within the party. From the beginning of the party up to today. It’s the reason we had to fight the Civil War. Even the diversity hire VP called Joe out on his racist past. However, she’s still willing to work with racist Biden because she enjoyed disproportionately locking up blacks as San Francisco’s DA. I know if Kamala was a Republican you racist Democrats would have a racist name for her the same way you do for all black Republicans. The Democrats are so racist that their own racist words have gotten several threads on UM a shut down or even totally disappeared. Seriously, look at the condition of the black communities in these cities that have been run by Democrats for years and years.

Do you really think the Die Hard Trump loyalists will see that as healing?

No, they'll see it has a shot to the nuts, but fortunately most trumpists aren't the Jan 6th crowd, they're just folks who are scared of change.
