Grim Reaper 6 Posted January 16, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2022 (edited) After Oglala Sioux Chief Crazy Horse is fatally bayoneted by a U.S. soldier after resisting confinement and was Killed. His family asked to prepare his body for burial, the US Cavalry at Fort Robinson, Nebraska granted his family members the right to prepare his body according Sioux customs for burial. However, they would not allow them to take his body from Fort Robinson for a traditional Sioux Burial. So his family members made a plan to remove his body from Fort Robinson and to give him a traditional Sioux in secret location where it would not be disturbed and where only family knew Chief Crazy Horses burial location. ! The video below was produced by Chief Crazy Horse's descendants and it explains how his body was removed from Ft. Robinson and why it was important. The video is approximately 6 minutes long and it’s very interesting! Below are photos of the Chief Crazy Horses Monument and proud members of the Sioux Nation. Chief Crazy Horses monument is the Largest Monument in the United States, including Mt. Rushmore! The battle of the Little Bighorn should be used as a classic example of poor military planning, and even worst military leadership skills so I have no sympathy for how he meet his end! I do feel very sorry for his soldiers, they paid with their lives for his lack of military leadership and that is sad! But I also feel sorry for the plight of the Native Americans and I am not proud of that history at all. The US Government was not trying to make a peaceful resolution with the Native Americans, they were intent on exterminating them which is nothing but genocide and shameful. Anyway while Sitting Bull was the leader of the Lakota Sioux, Chief Crazy Horse was the leader who lead the Sioux Nation into battle that day with approximately 1000 warriors and he lead from the front like all leaders of any value must do. So even though I am a White American I am behind the Native Americans all the way, and Crazy Horse has always been my personal favorite Native American Chief because of his values and his selfless service to his people. When I consider American History and all the terrible events that occurred such as slavery, and the genocide carried out against the Native Americans, I favor the Native American cause above all others. Because to this day unlike other minorities the Native Americans have not lost their pride, they cause no issues, and all they have ever and still want is their freedom and fair / equal treatment. This Is became of friends I made in the Pacific Northwest they also do not act like they are owed something and they hold no grudges, that is something all of us could learn from them. He is very intelligent and I agree there are few things he can’t bring up from memory when in a discussion, to me that’s really great, but to some others I have have seen the frustration in their comments, so I just laugh at their foolishness. In addition to the homestead population and railway workers, there was an adjacent Sioux Village four miles south in the River Valley. These Sioux had retreated with Sitting Bull from Montana and the battle with General Custer. Have you ever gone to the reservation to check out the culture? Hi Manwon Yes I have been to several reservations and back home had a lot of First Nations friends and there were a fair few Fist Nations women that I seem to have held a certain quality that made me a decent looking warrior for a white guy. My mom taught at a reservation for a few years until she married my dad and have a picture where Chief Dan George made my dad an honorary chief because how how well he got along with everyone there and was a guest many times in our house when I was a child. A lot of people thought I was Metis or Fist Nations by both whites and Fist Nations so I know racism well from an odd aspect because I am white.

So you were a player huh, nothing wrong with that at all. I have always loved black haired brown eyed women myself, I suspose thats why I was always attracted to Asian women. I lived in Washington State in the Pacific Northwest for almost 20 years, and I can honestly say if I had never met my wife I most likely would have married a Native American women myself. While living there I made a number of very good friends from the Puyallup and Nisqually tribes. I use to go to stomps, sweats and a few times I attended religious ceremonies where Peyote was consummed, now that is some nasty nasty tasting stuff, but it certainly helps you have a vision, and whats strange its nothing like LSD, or Mushrooms. Its much stronger and the effect of colors along with both auditory and visual illusions are much more deeply enhanced. We also made many trips over the years up Mt. Rainer or into other parts of the Cascade Mountain Range, we would hike for 4 to 6 days and they would show me special locations that their tribe had used for religious purposes for many hundreds of years. Those times are about the only thing I miss about the United States, here in Korea I am also Immersed in the culture. All my life during my travels around the world I would always try to learn as much about the cultures as possible, even in the Middle East, and Africa. Peace my friend! Thanks for your participation in this thread! Heres a great video that is subtitled were Chief Two Moons tells the story of the battle of the little Big Horn in his own words, its really a great Oral History of the Battle! Grim Reaper 6 Posted January 17, 2022 Author #16 Share Posted January 17, 2022 Acoording to Chief Crazy Horses descendants there are no known photographs of Chief Crazy Horse. The only known image of Chief Crazy Horse is a sketch This drawing is the only known image of Chief Crazy Horse, based on a description from his little sister Julia Clown, or Iron Cedar as she was known in her tribe. Hi Manwon Thanks interesting vid. No I have never been a player really but did get seduced regularly so never bothered hitting on women. I always had lots of female friends that knew each other and hang out together I called them my Babes from Hell and they were fun and that is all our relationship would be is friends. I have known for many years that I would stay single and didn’t want to mess up a girls and my life with false promises/hope of something that wouldn’t happen to take advantage of them. There are women that feel the same way that are not looking for a mate and can be entertainingly forward in their seduction techniques
