Still Waters Posted January 22, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2022 Forensic reconstruction of the face of a female mummy who died some 2,600 years ago revealed a ‘pretty young girl’ with deep brown eyes and slightly protruding upper teeth. Scientists have spent months reconstructing what they call the most famous Egyptian mummy in Switzerland known as Shep-en-Isis, or Schepenese, using CT scans and imaging data ergonomics from her skeleton. Shep-en-Isis was found in 1819 at Deir el-Bahari, a famous complex of temples and mortuary tombs located on the west bank of the Nile in Egypt, before being shipped to Switzerland in 1820. The remains are now kept in the Convent Library of São Galo, in the Swiss city of St Gallen. https://wstpost.com/scientists-reconstruct-the-face-of-a-female-mummy-that-died-in-the-7th-century-bc/
jmccr8 Posted January 22, 2022 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2022 Interesting although this bit makes me wonder how was that possible if there is no Mary around to work with either seeing as how Jesus has left the planet so there are absolutely no skeletal artifacts to work with you are left pretty much to work with that cultures historical genetic qualities go for facial features. Moraes created earlier a series of facial reconstructions of historical figures such as Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ. 1
SHaYap Posted January 22, 2022 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2022 It is easy to forget that every single mummy is a person that once lived and was lovingly entombed by their loved ones and should be respectfully returned and interred at where they were from. ~
