Even Russia’s friends are getting upset over its war

Throughout the annual gathering, world leader after world leader had expressed deep discomfort if not outright condemnation over Russia’s war in Ukraine. Even some countries that have stayed friendly with the Kremlin called for a cease-fire or other ways to end the crisis. Few offered words of comfort to Russia. And Russian President Vladimir Putin, who did not attend UNGA, did himself no favors when he announced mid-week that he was escalating the battle and might even use nuclear weapons.

More to that, ODKB went to extinct.

Wonder how long will Russia take to notify the families of the deceased.

Democrats divided over whether to send Ukraine long-range weapons to use against Russia

Democrats on Capitol Hill are divided on whether it’s time to start providing Ukraine with more advanced weapons systems as Kyiv proves itself capable with its recent counteroffensive.

Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.), chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said now is the time to make sure Ukraine can adequately defend itself in the winter months. He didn’t offer support for providing longer-range systems.

“I think that the systems that we’re giving them — and that we need to look at — are the systems that may be able to knock some of the incoming missiles from Russia coming in which is killing innocent Ukrainians … or to try to make sure that they have what they need to defend themselves from those kinds of missiles,” Meeks said.

I don’t disagree I am just providing current information. Their point of view is pretty simple they do not want NATO and US Troops to enter the conflict at this point I think they are waiting to see what Russia does next. In my opinion the US is going to become involved in this conflict no matter what, so I agree we should give them the Weapons they want because the more damaged the Russian Military is the better for the Western Powers when they are pulled into the conflict.

If Vladimir Putin does use WMDs then we should respond in the same manner, but I am certain my opinion is not a popular one with most people.

No lend-Lease means they will be required to pay for the Weapons in the future it has nothing to do with giving them any weapon they want. That’s why at the end of WWII all the Allied Nations were paying the United States for the equipment supplied during the war throughout the 1950s.

Training made simple.  Send the recruits in on an assault mission, one rifle every ten.  The one that come out alive with the rifle is fully trained and qualified, the ones that come back without a rifle are shot as traitors and the ones that don't come back at all failed their training.

Siberian Enlistment Officer Shot as Recruitment Offices Torched Across Russia

Gruesome footage from an Irkutsk region military recruitment office showed a man in fatigues shooting another man point-blank and sending others scattering from the assembly hall.

The shooting marks one of the most dramatic instances of outrage over Putin’s draft of around 300,000 reservists for battle in Ukraine.

Since Putin made the surprise announcement Wednesday, at least 20 recruitment offices were torched across Russia’s 11 time zones, according to the independent news website Mediazona and The Moscow Times' Russian service.

Sounds very similar to the Iran - Iraq war the Iranians were losing because at that time the US was supporting the Iraqis. In some Cases the Iranians used young children on bicycles to charge Iraqi lines, these kids were armed only with grenades and they started to use civilians in mass swarm attacks basically unarmed needless to say the Iranian dead piled up so high they could be used as fighting positions. My comments here are not inaccurate or an exaggeration it must have been a horrible sight!

The United States developed a Chemical Agent called BZ in the 1950s it was designed as a incapacitating agent that would actually cause many of the effects of LSD. The agent was delivered as a gas and would take effect in an hour or less, once affected Soldiers would become combat ineffective for 12 hours or more. I don’t believe it was ever used by the US in a conflict however, it was tested on US Soldiers in the 1950s.
