So you admit that Ukraine should have joined NATO to protect themselves from being invaded ? :o

They can`t, all members have to vote yes.

Which NATO country would vote against Ukraine's admission?

Only 9 of the 29 countries are for it: Nine NATO allies back Ukraine’s path to membership – EURACTIV.com

The other countries don`t want them in because of two reasons:

1. NATO would have to go to war against Russia.

2. Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries on the planet.

You excited?

Also, can't find anything beyond the alleged "armageddon convoy" from a few days back.

I don't believe article five is retroactive, but I could be wrong.

Edit: They can't be at war upon admission, but that's okay because this is just a 'special military exercise". :tu:

Now, Putin is disgraced, and in retreat, why should Ukraine come to the table for anything other than complete withdrawal?

Why would anyone trust the words of Putin?  Any negotiated peace would be likely broken anyway.

Yeah, that’s pretty much been the consensus of this topic since the war started. Putin is scrapping the barrel, sending in old school buses painted green…..

Meanwhile the other side is claiming 70,000 Chechens are ready to join the fight for Russia.

Do you have evidence of that? Even if that were true, there is nothing preventing Russia from opening a new front in the Baltics, whether they have success in Ukraine or not. They certainly have the capabilities. Seems more like an excuse to justify western interventionist policies.

You're making excuses for the most corrupt country in the entire world. A country that never honors its agreements, and treaties. A country that doesn't care about human life, or rights. A country that changes the rules to the game like you change your socks. Your excuses are getting weaker every day. Every other forum that I'm on would have turfed you, and cookie by now as a russian agitators. All your arguments have been spurious at best, with nothing but russian propaganda to back up your flawed reasoning. Do you hate Ukraine that much that you overlook the atrocities that Russia is committing, and will continue to commit until they are stopped?

It is absolutely impossible to have any kind of a sensible conversation with you due to the fact that you're making tangental connections that make no sense at all. Maybe it makes more sense in your head, but on paper, it doesn't make sense at all.

Don’t put it on paper then. Problem solved.

I think the problem might lay within limitations of a constructed narrative.

Another excellent example of why we cannot let Putin take Ukraine.

If he takes Ukraine than he has millions more people to use as cannon fodder and more reasources to use for his next invasion.

Like a snowball rolling down hill, the sooner you stop it the smaller it will be.

It's not just the money, it's the intelligence and use of satellites provided to Ukraine. The HIMARS wouldn't be very effective without satellite navigation. How can we then claim that we are not directly involved in the war?

What going on with Elon’s satellite service in Ukraine?

Yeah, if anyone is going to use the Ukrainian people as cannon fodder, it should be the west. Not Russia,

By giving them weapons so they can protect themselves from invaders they are being used as cannon fodder?

By the logic, anyone who defends themselves is cannon fodder. People apparently don't have to right to defend themselves.

That's dumb logic.

Disingenuous post with nothing factual put forward. Agitprop at its worst. Ukraine asked for help. It was provided by most members of NATO and many countries who aren't members.

Why aren’t we giving everyone who needs to defend themselves weapons?

Good read.

Morale is plummeting in Putin’s private army as Russia’s war in Ukraine falters

https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/06/europe/wagner-ukraine-struggles-marat-gabidullin-cmd-intl/index.html?utm_source=fark&utm_medium=website&utm_content=link&ICID=ref_fark

Looks like putin is running out of mercenaries. The Wagner group

(putin's private army) is pulling members from its other theaters to try and stem the Ukrainian tide. Far to little, and far to late. Especially seeing as the mercs are the only ones being paid, outfitted, and fed. The rest of Putin's army gets to starve.

Three Points:

Ukrainian Coup: We funded and helped two minority far-right parties coup the Ukrainian President in 2015. These was because they wanted to take Ukraine into the EU. The coalition government from both of them made speaking Russian and holding dual Russian citizenship illegal. This provoked Russia to save the rights of its ex-pats in Eastern Ukraine by invading. Both those parties were openly Nazi parties. Since then, the current Ukrainian President has come to power but inherited that past.

If Australia funded the Coup to overthrow the Ukrainian President and Government I know nothing about it. But the Conspiracy Theory that the United States pumped Billions of Dollars into the Ukraine and was responsible has been debunked. So Cookie Monster this is just another case of Cookies Story Time and complete misinformation.:)

SO please go ahead and PULL IT Cookie Monster

The United States spent $5 billion on Ukraine anti-government riots: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2014/mar/19/facebook-posts/united-states-spent-5-billion-ukraine-anti-governm/

Greedy Companies: Your views are socialist fallacies. We live in a world with global markets and it`s the availability of resources on the global market that sets prices.

NATO: We don`t consider the Russian perspective where they see and have always seen NATO as a threat. Therefore, creeping up to its borders wasn`t a wise move. It has provoked the current conflict.

So if someone shows up at your door, and says he's taking your house, and he's going to kill you, and your family for it, you'd hand him a weapon to expedite it? Good to know.

Ukraine war: Biden says nuclear risk highest since 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis

''The risk of a nuclear "Armageddon" is at its highest level since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, US President Joe Biden has said.

Mr Biden said Russia's President Vladimir Putin was "not joking" when he spoke of using tactical nuclear weapons after suffering setbacks in Ukraine.

The US was "trying to figure out" Mr Putin's way out of the war, he added.

The US and the EU have previously said Mr Putin's nuclear sabre-rattling should be taken seriously.''

Seems the U.S./NATO want to provoke Russia to a nuclear war over Ukraine

Advocate russian withdrawal if you want peace.

Without disingenuous implying that the victim, Ukraine, owes to the perpetrator, putin's russia, anything.

Blaming Ukraine is not going to stop the war.

russian imperialist aggression had nothing to do with "protecting" Russian-speaking people they supposedly care about - they are being forcefully mobilized and wasted as cannon fodder.

This is land grab and genocide in Ukraine. putin's russians are invaders in sovereign country with indisputable borders. This is also totalitarian terror in Russia.

You can't compromise with totalitarian, genocidal freaks. You can only be so stupid to give them more time and chances to attack you again.

You are not advocating peace. Or that Musk guy or any of those who peddle pro-russian narrative.

It is not peace if genocide was accomplished. It would be the defeat of humanity, not peace.

Find some compassion for Russians, if you can't find it for Ukrainians, and stop trying to help genocidal putin's regime by spreading its totally psychopath ideas.

Your asking a great deal from him good luck getting a reply, however your sentiments and thoughts are very well put Helen. :)

The UK Government claims they are on the way to a nuclear exercise, but I`m not so sure.

Speaking of the UK and nuclear weapons, are you ever going to provide any kind of evidence for those secret nuclear missiles that you claimed the UK have ?

If you won't I might begin to think that you made it up, but you would never do a dishonest thing like that would you ?
