I’m Scottish, living in Scotland and anti-Brexit. Less than 30 miles from where I live is literally the first target to be hit if Russia launches nukes on NATO.

Its just speculation that I have heard but it would make sense keeping the good heavy armor units in reserve till they could have the greatest impact or most needed.  Ukraine has about 1,800 T-64s of various models, not sure how many are actually functional, but most of them are completely outclassed in armor, fire power, and accuracy by every tank Russia is using.  

With the way Russia is performing currently a large armored push against demoralized Russian troops who havent been eating, have little to no ammo and little to no fuel would probably be rather effective.

This is completely my opinion but a large armored push to retake Crimea isnt strictly impossible with how the war is going, just not sure if it would be a smart move or not.

I do opologise, Brexit doesn't affect Scotland. Keep your Haggis up your Highlands. But don't look what it doing to your fishing, farming or your industry, or the UK, or you may have to open your mind, lol!

After covid most countries are suffering financially and Russia should have known that they really don't have the resources that they thought they could employ.

Win or lose Russia is in for some hard economic times for some time to come.

Listen kid. I'm American and we are a lot of things, but at the moment we are solid behind the EU and Ukraine. I really don't think Putin wants to start throwing nukes around. So how about for now we concentrate on getting rid of the nut. We can go back to b***hing about each other in our own blessedly peaceful way after this is over.

Which is why I said most, even then the upgrade didnt improve the armor or the cannon which still leaves the T-64s at a distinct disadvantage.

Sending a few old, USSR-era planes isn't going to change the outcome. Espically as Russian forces are closing in massively on major cities.

You know the irony here is Putin is claiming he did not want Ukraine to join Nato as to have them on his border there then. But Belarus just voted to allow Russia to put nuclear weapons and troops there permanently on the EU border.

I think it is interesting that so many people seem to be of the thought that Russia is losing the war...

Ukraine wins WWIII against Russia?  Somehow, I just don't see that happening.

We have to play by the rules and Putin has to keep breaking them to the point that the rest of the world can step in to show force due to war crimes.

He's threatened a nuclear attack.

Yes he has and if he lives through this he may end up in a gulag, I think what many countries are doing is watching if he tries to expand his assault on other ex-USSR countries. Everyone has gotten involved as far as they legally can and will support with supplies the means to defend themselves. Putin has been shown the world does not support him all we need is for his people to see and react to what is going on and protests have started so people will become aware of the situation.

Really?  A Gulag?  He isn't going to expand any assault anywhere...he has a war going on in Ukraine...the people of that country cannot stop him.  The EU cannot stop him...he already knows the world doesn't support him and he doesn't care.  

Do you remember years ago when I said...It isn't China you need to keep your eyes on...it's Russia.  This is what I was talking about.  The Russian people are not going to protest too much...they are in fear of him as well.
