Not a Trumped up baaaaaaaaaad maaaaaaaaan...but rather an actual evil person. You are so right Katniss...we have so much to learn from history...factual things about Russia. Putin isn't an anomaly to Russia. He is just one guy in a long line of Russian Bad Guys...there is a reason Reagan referred to them as The Evil Empire...they actually were and actually still are. All I am saying is that we do not need the media to script the war for us...but they are going to...24 hours a day, non-stop analyzation of minutia and trivialized bs...and they all say the same thing and parrot each other...which...gives the illusion that the truth is somewhere in there, when, in reality...they know nothing and are spinning propaganda. This time the narrative is ....Putin is such a dolt, thought it would be a a cake walk...had no idea...yada, yada. If the Russians are anything, they are very smart and very cunning and love playing games with the West. Anyone who is led down the catwalk of underestimating Putin does so at their own peril. And the media does absolutely nothing but confuse the truth with all of their bs commentary as if, because some one put a mic in front of them and wrote them a huge check, suddenly they are brilliant thinkers. pfffft They talk good, they look good, they look intelligent and seem to have all the answers...it's a myth...it is all propagandized bs. That's my story and I'll stick with it. Let's face the fact shall we...people to listen to the press for entertainment. Because...well...like The Eagles sang about ...it's interesting when people die... He's a sly one. He has fooled people. I've simply laid out the what. "Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?" What: Instigated warfare. How: Open hostilities and the much gnashing of teeth. Where: At present the Ukraine. When: Now. Who: At least Russia. Why: We don't know. And that's where you wanted to railroad the discussion. My "speculation" has nothing to do with the "Why?" of it, because at present there is no substantial evidence to bother with it. Additionally: I've outlined about five clues. You just decided to ignore them and get p***y because I wouldn't allow you to drag the conversation into deliberately misleading and bad faith territory. If you intend on replying just to take a couple of potshots or, ironically enough, act on your own speculation of what's going on in my head rather than what's actually on the screen in front of you, you should probably sign off and go touch grass instead. Skulduggery Posted March 2, 2022 #1405 Share Posted March 2, 2022 (edited) I have my own ideas on how to end this war so that all sides win. However, I am not in a position in government and no world leaders would be reading my post here, so I don't feel talking about it matters. It would involve a one-on-one meeting between Vladimir Putin and myself. As in, here in the U.S. Say, a fishing trip between Putin and myself... with vodka and weed. I know exactly what to say to him so that the war ends and Ukraine stays sovereign and Russia also wins in a sense without the spectre of war looming. I just don't see that happening, sadly. I have a creative plan, though, but it would have to be heard by Putin himself. I actually have experience talking and reasoning with mentally troubled and unreasonable people. And I'm certain there are people ready for that. I guess they're waiting for the consequences of Putin's insanity to become more obvious in Russia, and for the oligarchs to realize there won't be way out of this, as long as the aggression is not stopped. And Putin won't stop, he's an offended narcissist, they dedicate their life to revenge against those who humiliated them. What warms my heart is the thought of Putin fuming because Zelensky is so popular all over the world. Putin keeps sending assassins at Zelensky not just because Putin is a habitual murderer, but also because Zelensky destroyed Putin's image of henchman so feared no one will dare confront him. 3
DarkHunter Posted March 2, 2022 #1414 Share Posted March 2, 2022 Ukraine is claiming over 6,000 Russians killed. NBC news is claiming unnamed government sources have told them 5,800 Russians killed. Even if the actual number is half of the numbers making it out that is still extremely bad for Russia. They only have about 200,000 soldiers and no indication seen yet of Russia moving in replacements or reinforcements. In general when 10% of a fighting force is lost it is not really combat effective anymore and Russia is getting to about a third of that with no objectives taken yet.

It is difficult for the guys from Voznesensk, we keep our fists for you, you have not let them out on the shore, you have blown up the bridges, now they are retreating to another TG, they are the same there. I think that our enemy will not sleep well this night, because we are on our land, we know the features of the landscape, we know the map, they get confused in three pines, the governor said. According to the head of the Regional State Administration, about 300-400 units of enemy equipment entered the region today. - They stopped again, they ride, they perform maneuvers so that they are not bombed. Summary of attacks per day on different cities: Spoiler Zhytomyr Early last night, the Russian occupiers fired rockets at Zhytomyr. The target was a military unit of the 95th Brigade, which at that time was performing combat missions in Kyiv and Donetsk regions. In total, there are up to three BTGs (battalion tactical groups) from the 5th All-Russian Army in the Zhytomyr Region. However, the enemy failed to advance. During the day, the enemy tried to deploy advanced units in the areas of Gorenichi, Shpytky, Petrushky. At the same time, the enemy deployed field and logistics camps in the areas of the settlements of Borodyanka, Katyuzhanka, and Gavronshchyna. Kyiv In the Kyiv direction, the enemy tried to continue the offensive with the help of thirteen battalion tactical groups from the Eastern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces along the Gorenichi, Gostomel, and Demidov frontiers in order to block the capital from the northern and northwestern directions. Towards noon, the Russian occupiers continued their advance in the direction of Makariv - Brusyliv - Fastiv and part of the forces - to Kyiv. On the routes to Malyn and Irpin, they lost their offensive pace, suffered significant losses and were stopped at unfavorable borders. In the Chernobyl direction, the enemy tried to advance in the direction of Demidov and Irpin, but also lost offensive potential and was stopped. At 5:47 p.m., the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, announced that the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great and the 95th Separate Assault Brigade had liberated Makariv in the Kyiv Region and established themselves there. Shortly afterwards, a bridge was blown up in Baryshivka, Kyiv region, after the passage of the Russian army. Thus, the escape routes of the Russian occupiers were blocked and they were trapped. Also today, the most modern Kash-52 Alligator racist helicopter was shot down near Kyiv. " Chernihiv In the northern direction, up to seventeen BTGs of the occupying forces, despite the loss of manpower and equipment, continued offensive operations to block Kyiv from the northeast. The invaders were stopped in the areas of Kozelets, Bobrovytsia, and Makiiv. In the other direction, in the areas of the settlements Svitilnya, Peremoha, and Hostroluchcha, the enemy troops lost their offensive potential. During the day, the enemy of the 1st Panzer Army and the 20th All-Army of the Russian Armed Forces, which led offensive operations in the direction of Krasnograd and Izyum to create conditions for the encirclement of the combined forces, suffered losses and was stopped at the borders of Bohodukhiv, Chuguiv, Shevchenko. Thus the attack on Chernihiv was choked. In the Nizhyn direction, the Russian occupiers moved in the direction of Nova Basan, Kozelets. In the evening, a battle between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense Forces against the Russian occupiers took place near Kruty in the Chernihiv region. As a result, Russian forces were devastated - the Ukrainian army killed about 200 Russian soldiers and officers. Sumy Enemy forces with up to two BTGs made unsuccessful attempts to keep the heroic Ukrainian cities of Sumy, Lebedyn and Okhtyrka surrounded. Unfortunately, the city of Trostyanets is temporarily under occupation. But in Trostyanets, "Bayraktar" aimed at the ACS, which fired on our settlements. Kharkiv In the Kharkiv direction up to sixteen BTGs continue the offensive operation in the direction of Krasnograd and part of the forces up to four BTGr on Izyum. At night, the invader suffered casualties and was stopped near the settlements of Bohodukhiv, Chuguiv, Shevchenkove. Lugansk In the Luhansk region, the enemy tried to reach the administrative borders of the Luhansk region with the forces of the so-called "DPR" army and the 8th Army of the RF Armed Forces. In particular, near Novotoshkivsky, the enemy tried to break through the positions of Ukrainian troops, but failed. Out of helplessness, the racists fired from artillery and rocket-propelled grenade launchers at the Popasna residential areas, as well as at the Popasna Repair and Carriage Plant. And in Severskodonetsk the occupiers fired on a kindergarten. Donetsk At night, the 95th Separate Assault Brigade entered Horlivka, which had been occupied since 2014, and established itself there. During the day, Ukrainian fighters strengthened their positions and prepared to continue the offensive. In Mariupol the previous night passed to the sounds of cannonade. But there is also good news: the Armed Forces repulsed the offensive from Berdyansk and took a lot of equipment. Unsuccessfully, the aggressor focused his efforts on blocking the city of Mariupol. He didn't reach the goal, he couldn't block Mariupol. Zaporizhzhia In the Zaporozhye region after regrouping the enemy continued movement in the direction of Kherson and Nikolaev. Up to two BTGs operated in the areas of Vasylivka, Chervone Pole, and Novopetrivka. In Energodar, the Russian military began throwing grenades and shooting at peaceful Ukrainian protesters. There are wounded. Kherson In the Tavriya direction, the enemy continues its offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Skadovsk, Gola Prystan, Kherson, Snihurivka, and Nova Kakhovka. Street fights continued in Kherson at night. In the afternoon the mayor Igor Kolykhayev reported that the city is controlled by the Russian military. At the same time, another column of Russian equipment was burned near the settlement of Davydiv Brod in the Kherson region of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Mykolaiv Towards evening our divisions neutralized the landing attempt trying to land near the city of Nikolaev. Many Russians were also taken prisoner. Odessa In the Black Sea Operational Zone, the enemy deployed a ship group and continued preparations for a naval landing operation. There isnt really anything being sent that Russia probably hasnt acquired already or can do much with the information. Stingers and javelins have been in use for a good while with both missiles and launchers already being lost/captured by opposing forces or sold on the blackmarket. Nlaw missiles are newer, not sure if they have been used much before this invasion but if Russia acquires them there isnt much they can do with them. There isnt really anything Russia could learn about how to counter them from acquiring a few. The launch tube fires a laser at a target to get distance and movement information, programs that information into the rocket, fires the rocket and the rocket goes where using the range, speed, and direction of the target where it expects it to be. Not really any way to jam that. Even reverse engineering isnt really an issue as in general Russia wont be able to produce them anyway. All of these weapons depend on specialized computer chips and Russia struggles massively in producing it's own computer chips. They can reverse engineer them, they can even build prototypes, but they wouldn't be able to mass produce them with them holding anywhere near the quality or reliability of the original. The computer chip issue is why Russia has a very small stockpile of precision munitions which they seem to be using up completely on Ukraine.

I mostly sit at home, during the day I go to the pump room for water, an air siren often sounds, but there are no attacks, someone hides in a shelter (those who live on higher floors), others sit at home. At 6 pm there is no one on the street, all the shops are closed . 15 km from the city, a shell fell next to a communications radar but did not hit anyone. My city is intermediate for the enemy, it will be worse if there is a shootout, but as long as the bridges are blown up, so the enemy will not come to me quickly. Bayraktars blow up the enemy at night, thanks to them and Erdogan for selling them to us.
