Russia says it called-up more than 200,000 troops for Ukraine war

''Russia has drafted more than 200,000 people to fight in Ukraine less than a fortnight after President Vladimir Putin announced the partial mobilisation of recruits.

Defence minister Sergei Shoigu made the claim while speaking at a consultation with military figures.

“As of today more than 200,000 people have entered the army,” said Shoigu.''

Dmitry Peskov, Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman, welcomed the proposals and said Musk is "still trying to look for ways to achieve peace."

Speaking to the state-controlled RIA Novosti news agency about the plan, Peskov said: "Many ideas deserve attention there.

But the warmongers on the pro-Ukrainian, pro-NATO side are not interested in peace.

So, for the third time, are you in agreement that Russia should pull out of Ukraine?

You're such a troll. Russia invaded Ukraine, Ukraine are defending their country. Who's the warmongers?

Any "peace plan" which involves Ukriane "remaining neutral" is a nonstarter.  Entirely unrealistic.

As that is not a peace plan but surroundering and becoming a vassal state to Putin.

It is my honest intention that this post is my last post about Musk. (Yeah, probably won't be, sadly.)

He definitely got way too much attention, but on the other hand, his suggestions are pure kremlin narrative and these must be countered - or else the morons will start parroting them because the guy who claims he's smart said so.

So, this is literally what is going on. And it's so painfully offensive for everyone who is or is about to become a victim of russian genocidal aggression.

The bad news is that russian nuclear terrorists in Zaporizhzhia NPP started mining the place, the good news is that it means they expect to be kicked out.

BS...Iran is just pretending, if Russia was having undeniable success they would publicly recognise it or pretend to be neutral.

The morbidly hilarious thing about Iran not recognizing russian "referendums" is that it puts various western apologists of putler higher on the pro-russian scale than Iran.

I think Iran realises russia isnt as strong as it appeared. Wouldn't surprised if try telling putler to pull out. Specially since Iranian drones have been caught.

I believe you're right. But the great thing about Iran's sudden attack of common sense is that it is the result of their realization that the sane part of the world is going to sanction them back to stone age - and for what? For putler's senile fantasies. They'll have much more damage from selling drones to russia than they had profit from it. Imagine they damage that would follow if the recognized illegal annexation of sovereign, internationally recognized countries.
