Yes exciting to hear about this.  But…whatever news we hear it’ll be modified as usual to fit the agenda of those like Hawass running the department of antiquities in Egypt.

I agree, it is exciting. But just as an aside, Hawass is no longer in charge. Retired out.

Not directly, but he is very much still active and in charge of research and archeology in certain areas there.
