Looks like an interesting place. I might have to take Mrs Stiff there for a visit. I'd want that trap mechanism working properly again though before I left.

I bet at the end of every day bigfoot goes in there, a light goes on and the sounds of him peeing, brushing and gargling and humming can be heard.  Obviously it ends with a flush.

I suspect its still bolted open, so hikers don't get trapped. So BF hasn't had to worry about it since the 1980s.

It would still be cool to go visit. Maybe lay some fake prints out nearby.
