Congress to Hold First Open Hearing About UFOs in 50 Years

Years ago I do remember reading something about a RAND Corporation UFO study, looks like they were instrumental in the original cover-up. Lue confirms that in the video.

This acknowledgment also gives me a bit of hope that on Tuesday we'll get more than something like: "Yes, there are things up in the atmosphere flying around, we're not sure about them, but we've got 2 new groups studying it all now, yada yada"

You know this guy is a clown, right?

He doesn't even know how the equipment works. One of his comments on infrared imaging is that IR can see cold things as well as hot things. How dumb a comment is that?

There is no cover up

Some answers to what these Navy pilots have been seeing off the east coast would be quite desirable, but knowing our government's penchant for obfuscation, probably off the table:

Or maybe the Navy and others simply don’t have the answers.

I'd say its a pretty straight forward request:

Chairman of UFO Hearing Andrew Carson: “We want to see the footage and have it explained to us. That’s what we want to accomplish.”

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-05-13/chair-of-first-ufo-hearing-since-1960s-someone-has-to-do-it

A lot to digest In the last paragraph of that article-

“I’d like to think in the realm of possibility that there are other life forms out there. Within our solar system, who knows?” said Carson. “Might life forms exist on one of the moons of one of our planets -- I mean, that’s for NASA and other folks to let us know.””

More intriguing commentary:

John Ratcliffe, former president Trump’s director of national intelligence, summed up the situation: UFOs exhibit “technologies that we don’t have” and – critically – “that we are not capable of defending against.”

Moreover, according to Ratcliffe, UFOs “engage in actions that are difficult to explain, movements that are hard to replicate, that we don’t have the technology for.”

This caught my attention today.

The official said there are people with knowledge of the phenomena who have yet to contribute to the oversight effort.

“These people exist and they are protecting very interesting information,” the official said.”

“They fetishize their secret society,” the official said. “It’s kind of a Skull and Bones-type vibe. They take it seriously but they have no accountability. Zero. There is a whole group of us that know in great detail this subject, a lot of which has not been reported to Congress because of security issues.””

UFO House Intel panel: 'Approximately 400' UFO sightings by gov sources

That doesn't include the rest of us with our own. It's great to have 'gov source' sightings, but they're just as stumped as any of us that aren't government. Probably just a tad less poo-pooed.

From your article, it is unclear whether the secrets are government legacy programs  that the agencies want to keep secret or  that they are of unknown  origin.

Three former cavalrymen revealed their encounter with a UFO at a Middle East US military base in 2014 – and complained they had no official way to report the strange sighting. Now the three veterans are speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com in a rare on-record interview as the first public Congressional hearings on UFOs in half a century got underway Tuesday. They said they saw eight bright objects hovering and zipping across the sky at incredible speeds from a desert outpost in Sinai, on the Egyptian border, around December 2014. The three cavalry scouts, who are trained in identifying aircraft, believe the objects they witnessed were of non-human origin. One claims he was told ‘keep your mouth shut’ by a senior officer after word spread among his regiment about the sighting. The men said they were afraid to make official reports about the incident for fear of being sent for a career-damaging psychological evaluation, and said there was no proper process to make such a report anyway. Their case is an example of the concerning incursions of sensitive airspace by apparently technologically sophisticated craft – and the military’s failure to collect data on such incidents or take them seriously. Sergeant Travis Bingham, 36; E4 Specialist Vishal Singh, 29; and Private First Class Dovell Engram, 28, were all stationed at Observation Post 3-1 in Sinai near the south end of the Israel-Egypt border. Their regiment, 3rd Cavalry, was part of a Multinational Force and Observers mission (MFO) deployed to monitor the border for nine months. Engram was the first to spot something strange while on watch in the guard tower one December night. He described being ‘scared s***less’ after seeing a bright, apparent craft in the night sky. Pictured right: An artist's reconstruction of the view in the Sinai in 2014 when the three cavalrymen say they saw the UFO.

Tales of people being to stay quiet or being threatened in the military today are hilarious to me. There are so many avenues for troops to report things and/or make complaints. Anyone who was told to "keep quiet" and then didn't try to report it to the IG office or contact the 1-800 anonymous whistleblower line is full of it. Not buying this crap at all.

Lots of intriguing - and unanswered  questions - abound:

"The acceleration and maneuver characteristics that some UFOs display would be expected to produce G-force pressures on their vehicles ranging into the hundreds. This should rip the vehicles apart. But that doesn't occur. In the context of UFO-related sensor data that show aberrant returns based on a UFO's speed and distance from the sensor platform, and military eyewitness reports that suggest zig-zag distorted movement, some analysts believe UFOs operate by manipulating gravity fields around their vehicles."

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/restoring-america/patriotism-unity/ufos-go-to-congress-5-questions-which-need-answering

The electronics are not known to exist for that, at the very minimum their solder connections would be failing.

I've posted here about people I know who have been threatened. Comes along with signing their NDAs.

NDAs for what? Their duty pulling a guard shift at an OP? It's not a sensitive site or a classified operation so that doesn't wash. Plus I'm having an intel buddy do some digging because I'm trying to figure out what Cav unit has been or currently is sending units to the Sinai. I could be wrong but I don't think there have been any major units in that area since the end of Operation New Dawn on 2011 and the return of combat forces from Iraq.

So, you personally know and talked to people who have signed NDAs and were threatened?

Yes, guys from security to independent contractors that worked in highly sensitive areas.

Did they have a copy of their NDAs to back their claim? Did they say what highly sensitive areas?

But back to your original statement. Cav troops by and large aren't getting assigned to a mission that would require an NDA.

No they didn't have their NDAs in their wallets, I wasn't interrogating them, for crapssakes. Yes, they told me about the areas and incidents, which we're all privy to.

Well, how close did Louie Gohmert and Tommy Tuberville get to finding the truth today?  I hear the truth is out there, I just don't think most of those guys could find their butt with both hands.

Ok, so they told you a story and you believed it. Thank you.

What was the nature of your conversation that lead to a discussion of UFOs, sensitive areas, NDAs and the like?

Can you give specifics of what you're alluding to? (bolded for clarification)

And you believe that nonsense, straight up? There first of all wasn’t any US cavalry servicemen anywhere near Sinai in 2014. The only US servicemen that could possibly have been there would be special forces, and you would never hear about those unless something went horribly wrong - or if they managed to capture or kill some really high profile terrorist.

You really don’t believe there were/are American servicemen in the Sinai?

This was the most surprising post of the thread so far.

I've typed it all out before on here and in the end it won't make a difference to you anyway. I'll try and save you guys the standard cut-and-paste, brush-off, last- word posts you guys live for. We'll see how that works out.
