Exactly, and throw in senses that make predictions based on things we aren’t even aware of as in the visual system.

While it is a lot of work and time consuming cultivating the skill of critical thinking and having a good working knowledge of ones brain can help human’s adapt for a clearer picture of reality. 
 

For ex: in my line of work ( including myself at times) a caregivers perceptions and judgments and expectations of the illness and family members can skew ones ability to accurately assess the situation and adopt behaviors that help relieve suffering. While we are not ever gonna see reality as it is we can go along way in adopting practices that nurture this ability, just cultivating a willingness to be wrong or in error can help. This has been a big take away for me learned in MBSMT. 

         Thanks Sherapy, those  ‘illusions’ were cool !    .. I was only fooled by a few of them… my brain sorted most of them out and saw and understood them as they really are.               (maybe I have an advantage!   .. because of 4 1/2 years worth of side effects from treatments and meds and ,more recently, Seizures!   my brain has had to work harder than average to maintain a relatively good level of functionality and comprehension).       It’s so good that you work on your understanding for the good of others! ..as well as yourself

That is so good you saw thru them and even better how hard you work to care for yourself. People as you inspire me to be better at compassion work. For me, it is a fun journey to test my capacity for compassion and empathy seeing if there really is something to it.  So far, working to be of service as opposed to for financial survival has a much different vibe for me, I feel passion for my work. It is an nice perk. Always a delight to chat with you. Hope Misses Lightly is fairing well too. 
 

 

I was only able to see the illusion in the green and black diagonal lines. I saw a gold and white dress and greenish gray crocs. On the gold and white dress for me the sleep patterns are a match. I go to bed early around 6:30 or 7 p.m., but next week I am going to be working nite shift for a few nights, so for fun I am gonna look at the illusions again after a few night shifts see if I see the same if one’s sleep pattern makes a difference.

Instead of those two choices…gold & white  or  blue & black , I see a pale blue with gold dress !    The  A B  squares begin the same color…then differ as the image fills in…until I peek at them between my hands held over the image…then they appear the Same!   
       As for the topic.. it’s interesting to me how some ( like me) see the universe and everything in it as one creation,  and others see everything as separate. Interesting too, that some accept ‘creation’ (but;)   I ,for one, can’t fully comprehend anything!  just lucky I guess.

….just sitting here ‘comprehending’ *           Unlike ‘god’, Air and Light are measurable ..but, we can’t see them directly. . we can FEEL  them directly !  We can’t see air.. but we can FEEL a breeze …and see it move things.      We can’t see light ,until it is reflected !  but we can FEEL it’s warmth.      

  ( thanks, just hangin waiting to hear how sister’s surgery went! ) …just heard…they said it went very well, took the ‘mass’ out and kept her kidney

No I am a ram born in the year of the horse. Life is life mine no more or less important than the fish, animal or grain/fruit you and I eat every day.

We humans make a big deal out of out existence making up images and ideologies of gods. I never asked to exist actually before I existed I didn’t know existing was possible nor do I care here I am weep your tears of sorrow or rejoice with rum and bud the choice is yours.
