In the olden days, before my time, that is what people used to do. Let the girl stand on the side of the road to get someone to stop. Then several people jump out and get in the car.

I have found a feral kitten about that same age and it was vicious. My other cats were terrified of it and they were adults. I think that someone took all of them and left them out there probably right before he found them.
