Proof would only be made public if the authorities in charge wanted it to be made public.

Just out of curiosity- Were Trump, Barr, Pence,  Raffensperger,, etc. not authorities?    The my pillow guy took out commercials all the time.  Could he have not just broadcast the "evidence" on his own dime?  Heck, could not members of this very forum or other forums not presented the evidence and how it affected the election on those platforms?

Oh, so it’s a giant conspiracy with no evidence then. That really does seem to be the conservative card of choice these days.

Must be nice to be able to claim conspiracy with anything you don’t agree with and actually think it’s a valid argument.

Really? Are there real opinions by real experts that really say it almost worked? Ive never seen, or heard of, such an opinion.

The rioters weren't even armed. How easy, if a planned coup, to get evety third person to bring a pistol? Extremely easy. If that had been done, there would have been a 100% success rate. At least with the presumed goal of preventing the Senate count and confirmation. Since such a simple winning plan didn't happen. This leads me to believe the whole idea of a "coup" is simply BS.

You have not been listening then.  Moving pawns is not the entire chess game.

Consider this, if the rioters had been armed, we would not be having this conversation. If capitol police and Congress people had been murdered, it would be an obvious and violent coup.  Donald Trumps would have replaced Benedict Arnold as the icon for a traitor to the United States.

The Oath Keepers. 11 of which are being brought up on seditious conspiracy charges. Had weapons stock piled outside of DC in a hotel and people parked in a car out front with rifles ready to ferry weapons in if needed.

They believed they were ready to help Trump keep power, by force if needed.

Why they ended up not bringing the weapons in, I don't really know.

But the court has messages showing that a group of them who went in were looking for Pelosi.

That's not falsifiable, therefore it's useless.

Right it was such a hoax that half his campaign staff got indicted for playing footsie with Russia...

No one was indicted for collusion with Russia--not a single person. Anyone who was indicted was for other reasons.

Yet the only shot fired in the capital building was by a capital cop murdering a protester. Some insurrection.

You’d have a really difficult time proving murder in court for that one.

Wasn’t Manafort indicted for passing across campaign information to a Russian spy? Whether or not he was convicted for that one, we know for sure he did it.

And didn’t Stone go to prison for charges related to colluding with Wikileaks, with Assange being a known Russian asset? Whether or not he was convicted for that one, we know he did it.

And Trump just so happened to pardon both of them.

Just as they'll have proving an unarmed mob of some grand, conspiratorial insurrection. Hey! Mud is free to both sides.

At this point they’re not just looking at insurrection. They’re looking at Trump’s attempted coup as a whole.

Also, that was a strawman.

Manafort was prosecuted in two federal courts. In August 2018, he stood trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and was convicted on eight charges of tax and bank fraud. Manafort was next prosecuted on ten other charges, but this effort ended in a mistrial with Manafort later admitting his guilt.[19][20][21] In the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, Manafort pled guilty to two charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States and witness tampering,[22] while agreeing to cooperate with prosecutors.

n January 25, 2019, Stone was arrested at his Fort Lauderdale, Florida, home in connection with Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation and charged in an indictment with witness tampering, obstructing an official proceeding, and five counts of making false statements.[31][32] In November 2019, a jury convicted him on all seven felony counts.[10][33][34] He was sentenced to 40 months in prison.[35][36] On July 10, 2020, days before Stone was scheduled to report to prison, Trump commuted his sentence.[10] On August 17, 2020, he dropped the appeal of his convictions.[37] Trump pardoned Stone on December 23, 2020.[10][38   WIKIPEDIA

That’s cool. Not sure if any of them were related to Manafort passing across campaign polling data to a Russian spy. Either way, I’d say sharing that information with Russia for Russia to then utilise within their own pro Trump campaign is pretty clearly colluding.

You can claim there was no collusion but there quite clearly was, and it was discovered by a neutered SC investigation at that.

I didn't know Trump was at the Capital Building. As I recall, he parted with that crowd and admonished them to go there and protest peacefully.  An unarmed coup attempt? Once again the "Get Trump"   crowd indulges their fantasy while grasping at straws.

If it's so clear, how is it no one seeking to prosecute him for it, ever prosecuted him for it? Nevermind; I wouldn't want the truth to occlude your fantasies.

So what? That impowers no one with the right to, with a broad brush, taint the rest of the people there with their idiocy.

What's the matter, Sparky, not understand plain English? Eleven malcontents who never used their guns and a crowd of idiots does not constitute a grandiose conspiracy of coup and insurrection. The Democrats will try to paint it so, thinking it will somehow save them in November, but it won't. No one who matters, cares. They're just preaching to the Choir of their built-in audience of Liberal Sycophants

I guess I'm confused by all the strawmen comments you're making lol.

Do you deny Trump tried to overturn the election results, yes or no?

If he did, that would be a crime and he'd be behind bars. Do you deny he isn't behind bars? Do you think, if there was evidence he fomented insurrection, the Biden FBI wouldn't have nailed him by now?

So as long as Trump dosen't end up behind bars than you have no problem with him trying to overturn the election results ?

Truly a lover of democracy I see

The coup was the events leading up to and eventually culminating in the Jan 6 attack. Have you just not been paying attention to this at all? Trump attempted, in numerous ways, to overthrow the election.

I strongly suggest you watch the hearings.

That’s literally what these hearings are about. Showing the American public that he did and getting enough support to charge him with crimes.

But you’re obviously not even bothering your **** to watch or even read about it. Another one with their head in the sand.

Also, it is predicted/rumoured that Georgia will be bringing charges by the end of the month.

There is a mountain of evidence that Trump tried to overthrow the election. It’s not even possible to deny it at this point, since he tried desperately in so many ways to do so. Please read some of it when you get a chance.
