Eldorado Posted July 20, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2022 Something dead washed up on North Carolina’s barrier islands, and experts at Cape Lookout National Seashore admit the discovery has left them searching for answers. The park is now asking the public for ideas. Two of the creatures were found, each resembling 6-inch-long black worms — but with bristles. https://www.aol.com/news/mystery-creature-found-beach-north-120511332.html? 2 Top

TomO' Posted July 22, 2022 #9 Share Posted July 22, 2022 When I first started fishing off the coast of Cape Cod, sand worms were the bait of choice. They worked, but lures then became the bait of choice. It's been a long time, but I believe those dead creatures may be sandworms.
