Fox has now turned his attentions to a little-known incident

I don't think this is quite right. 'Varginha UFO' case is one of the more well known UFO incidents. I remember reading about it 15 or more years ago.

I don't know why you would make such a claim.  The Wiki page   for this incident clearly states "...and garnered media coverage worldwide including an article in The Wall Street Journal. It is one of the best-known cases in Brazilian ufology."

Because of what is written in the opening article: "Fox has now turned his attentions to a little-known incident that occurred in 1996". I just thought that the Varginha UFO incident is not some "little-known UFO incident" that Fox now turning attention to, but one of the most famous UFO incidents ever.

I was being sarcastic.  The Wiki page   for this incident clearly states "...and garnered media coverage worldwide including an article in The Wall Street Journal. It is one of the best-known cases in Brazilian ufology."

Nah I wouldn't say a handful ... If people would drop the stigma campaign and let people feel safe to talk they might realize how high contact rates actually are. After discussing my story on UM I felt confident to tell more people my stories. You would be amazed how many people will admit to an incident once they feel confident of my acceptance. Several of the stories I heard matched up, as in they shared similar elements, events entities and behavior of. It's amazing what you can learn if you just listen.

The hell with acceptance. Anyone here who has experienced something can share and they certainly shouldn't be concerned about proving anything to the debunking-hobby trolls. Some are here to share, others just to tell you you're wrong. The interweb isn't going to change anyone's experience, all you can do is share and search for similar stories to see if anyone else is in your boat. I'm still working on mine, twenty years on.
