LOL What if the documents that they want from Trump are all the people's names, images, videos, date and times certain politicians were at Epstein Island.

It's not out of the realm of possibilities.

Yes!

It isn't out of the realm of possibilities. Trump appointed Bruce Reinhart to be a Judge.

On March 14, 2018, Judge Reinhart took the oath of office to serve as a United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Florida. Donald Trump was president at the time.

Look it up.

This raid story is getting crazzzzzy.

Remember the Whiskey Rebellion that Washington put down?  The republic has the right to levy and collect taxes.  I believe you will find that in the Constitution.

Yes, I know about the Whiskey rebellion and Shay’s rebellion.  Washington and the other Founding Fathers were concerned about this action.  Was it the right thing to do?  The issue at hand was to keep a fledgling nation together.  The government was touted as a minimal entity.  Did using force violate the public trust?  These rebellions were reluctantly put down with no vendetta against those that rebelled.  Those that participated kept their rights and standing.  This set the bar as for how rebellions would be dealt with.  Just the needed force to keep the union together.  These were growing pains.  There have been numerous riots since and usually, law enforcement (sometimes troops) was used to secure the peace.  Then we had the Bonus Army riot, which threatened the fabric of our nation.  If a war wasn’t around the corner, it could have been considered as government abusing its power.

Quote

If you think any law sounds like dictatorship, how do you support our founding documents that outline powers and boundaries of power assigned to the state?

And you don’t think that those laws can be abused by the ruling elite?  Today, that is what we have.  1984 is literally happening right before our eyes.  To say that we need fundamental change is not support of our Founding Documents.  The state has overreached its boundaries.  When the people have been robbed of the sanctity of the ballot, Jefferson states that it is the right and duty of the people to make changes to remove a tyrannical government and replace it with one that will protect the rights of the individual.  If the government can do this ‘raid’ to not just an ex-President but political opponent, then no one is safe.  Our government collapsed last night.  If we cannot pull it out of the fire this November, all is lost.  When the government is weaponized against the people, their rights suffer.  If rebellion should come, the government would not be trying to maintain the union, but to subdue and enslave the populace.

Quote

If something about this is suspected to be illegal, it will be challenged.  With a Constitutionally conservative Supreme Court, they may decide to reach out and hear the case.

It’s been illegal since the phony Russian Collusion.  Let’s take it to court.  Like everything else, the Left has done, when it gets to court, it falls apart.  If the Idiot Select Committee had anything, they wouldn’t be trying this grandstanding.  You do realize that at least until the midterms (and perhaps longer), the Left will be scheming and checking every box possible.  They will try to cripple those that come after from bettering this nation.  The Left does not care about this nation, only their power.  And they have proved it now.

You paint it as political rather than adherence to law.  WOW every drug dealer, looter, and thief should run for public office and claim police activity against them is purely political

If Trump is suspected of breaking a law and having possession of evidence, a search warrant is valid. That would be the point wouldn't it?  In an ideal world, nobody is above the law.  Does it scare you that we are not above the law established by the Constitution?  People are afraid of discovery when they have something to hide. Why would you think the president should be above the law?  Standard procedure would be for Trump to have a copy of the search warrant.  The DOJ will not release the warrant to the press  before an indictment is made or the case is dropped.  That protects the rights of the defendant as well as the state.   Ex-president Trump is perfectly free to publish his copy of the warrant if he feels it is unjust.

There is a pattern in all of these arguments that says Trump supporters love the Constitution but it cannot stand against corrupt elites, and people must take extra-constitutional actions to make things right.  That seems like little faith.

To me that sounds like a Christian saying we must use lies and violence, the tools of Satan, to further Christianity.

If this is the first time the Constitution  has faced corrupt elites in our nation and prevailed, I would be very surprised.

You are right to consider Trump and his followers about unity.

One God, One belief, One nation, One set of ethics and one way to live as long as it is their way.  I am coming to believe Trump supporters are not interested in representing anybody but ruling everybody.  That is why people who are sick of the games of Republicans and Democrats do not flock to Trump. We see no freedom there unless we drink the Kool-Aid.

Why would they bother, that would just make him a marter.  No one is going to assinate Trump.

Indeed, keeping him alive is valuable to the Democrats.  Mitch and others, all RINO's of course, might think Trump is more of a liability than a value if they want to win a majority in Congress.

These kinds of gaffs happen to everybody.  I've got a bunch more about Samuelson.

I couldn't resist this one:

Samuelson was the honorary parade marshal at the Boise Stampede.  He rode in on a big stallion which shied right in front of the Boise Statesman's camera.  They got a fantastic picture of him flying off the horse, arms outstretched with a scream on his face.  And they printed it in that evening's paper.  He threatened to sue them for showing him in a bad light.  Well, that was news, so they ran an article about him suing them for publishing THIS picture and they ran the picture again.  He blustered and threatened and every time he did, they ran another article with the same picture.  He finally gave up and dropped the suit.

Wow.  Most of our governors know how to ride a horse.    Our current governor even has an ad with her on a ranch riding next to a rancher talking to him.    You can tell she knows how to ride.    We had another governor years ago who loved riding in parades, even when he was no longer governor he would ride in parades all over the state.

Soon we'll have 87,000 armed IRS agents to go after Americans.

They won't have to be armed, in most cases.  All they have to do is audit you, file an amended return for you and let you right the check, which by the time they do an audit, will have two or three years worth of interest and penalties added.

Most IRS agents get brownie points (and raises) based on the amount they recover, so most are going to go after the big fish.  Why bother with a $200 penalty when you can collect a $20,000 penalty?

And they cant collect anything if you haven't broken the law.  Most IRS audits produce a refund.

Wow even houses built on trumps cards tumble, i would have been floored if his worshippers didnt run to yell asinine tripe like "set up" or "planted evidence" its a go too marmalade messiah is sacrosanct in their blind eyes however after all the ridiculous comedy tRump played with election fraud and never presenting proof and everyone knowing trumps go to is to blame others even if he has to make up stuff. Breathe easy  hes had plenty of time to get rid of bad things.

I doubt any judge or agent is going to risk a vacation to the grey bar hotel because they were as incompetent as trump was and is. Of course they documented what they grabbed and the raid.

This might be as simple as tRump took home stuff that he wasnt supposed to take, pens, an ash tray, the only nude photo of Lincoln,   classified documents who knows hes old and bumbling mistakes can and do happen.

with all the furor investagating his part in the failed insurrection on the 6th there might just be a smoking gun that someone tipped someone off to, i wonder who is close to trump and might feel humiliated, cheated on, and always had the expression on her face of trying to bend spoons with her mind? Hum?

I do think this is bigger than hunting vaction videos of orange guys enjoying watersports with low rent russki sex trade workers, hum, who has a soft spot for sex trade workers?

The plot thickens.

One thing I will agree with Republicans about is that there should be an investigation of the FBI after this is over.   It needs to be out in the open and clean.   Every fact disclosed about Trump communications should be available to the public.   The Republicans may not be so anxious if  it reveals messages to McCarthy, Ray, Jordan, MTG, Hawley and others.

Notice Mitch and other top Republican leaders are staying silent.  They may know how things will work if texts are publicized and will let the Trump crowd thin itself out before 2022.  Mitch is out to win 2022 and 2024, for the Republicans not defend Trump.

A reporter on ABC World News Tonight said that Trump has the warrant. I wondered about that. Police have to serve you with a warrant before they can enter your home. Since no one in the Trump family was at Mar-a-Lago, I wonder if and how they did that. Or was serving the Secret Service with the warrant sufficient? They said the manager of Mar-a-lago called Eric Trump when the FBI came in and Eric called his dad. It doesn't sound like any of them knew this was coming. He also said Trump can release the warrant to the public. There is nothing saying he can't do that. Trump does not have the affidavit that the FBI gave the judge to show probable cause. Does he really have the warrant?

Has anyone else heard anything about this?

f) Executing and Returning the Warrant.

(1) Warrant to Search for and Seize a Person or Property.

(A) Noting the Time. The officer executing the warrant must enter on it the exact date and time it was executed.

(B) Inventory. An officer present during the execution of the warrant must prepare and verify an inventory of any property seized. The officer must do so in the presence of another officer and the person from whom, or from whose premises, the property was taken. If either one is not present, the officer must prepare and verify the inventory in the presence of at least one other credible person. In a case involving the seizure of electronic storage media or the seizure or copying of electronically stored information, the inventory may be limited to describing the physical storage media that were seized or copied. The officer may retain a copy of the electronically stored information that was seized or copied.

(C) Receipt. The officer executing the warrant must give a copy of the warrant and a receipt for the property taken to the person from whom, or from whose premises, the property was taken or leave a copy of the warrant and receipt at the place where the officer took the property. For a warrant to use remote access to search electronic storage media and seize or copy electronically stored information, the officer must make reasonable efforts to serve a copy of the warrant and receipt on the person whose property was searched or who possessed the information that was seized or copied. Service may be accomplished by any means, including electronic means, reasonably calculated to reach that person.

(D) Return. The officer executing the warrant must promptly return it—together with a copy of the inventory—to the magistrate judge designated on the warrant. The officer may do so by reliable electronic means. The judge must, on request, give a copy of the inventory to the person from whom, or from whose premises, the property was taken and to the applicant for the warrant.

From the Cornell Law School site.

Looks like standard practice is to give a copy of the warrant and the inventory of items taken to the subject of the search so it would seem that Donald Trump would have a copy of the warrant and inventory.  He is free to publish it.

Yes. They probably left it with the Secret Service but I don't know that for sure. They said the SS accompanied the FBI when they searched, which took them almost the whole day.

Never assume that you are the only crook in business.  Garland could simply have the FBI secretly investigate each person who is likely to embarrass or oppose him, as well as each state legislator who is trying to overthrow elections.  Then, a week or two before the election, send them an anonymous copy of what he has and suggest they drop our of the race.  All very quiet and in the dark.
