Its a cult like mentality.

Yeah and for the simple fact Trump's home was raided by the FIB..hmm FBI... it automatically makes him guilty. Is that the type of cult like mentality you speak of?

The raid on Mar-a-Lago was based largely on information from an FBI confidential human source, one who was able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents, two senior government officials told Newsweek.

The officials, who have direct knowledge of the FBI's deliberations and were granted anonymity in order to discuss sensitive matters, said the raid of Donald Trump's Florida residence was deliberately timed to occur when the former president was away.

If they even had the locations of the documents, why would it take 9 hours to locate them, what would the purpose of breaking into an empty safe be? Searching for additional unknown documents?

And next to come more unhinged melting from trumps subjects,

The irony is no matter what they do or dont find trump will never get in any real trouble people like him never do i have no idea why his subjects get so manic over these comedies.

Your kidding right? The simple fact his home was raided by the FBI automatically makes him guilty in the court of public opinion.

How else do you expect the FBI to do their job? From Tiggs article they tried to do it as low key as possible.

The public is going to know when a raid happens. Are they just supposed to not do a raid because of public perception?

I guess that makes sense.. since their job is to protect ‘him’ ..which would include observing that No One does anything to endanger him…like plant an explosive or poison or something .  ?      (they probably scan the maids?  . . personally, I’d frisk them;)

Yes. The job of the Secret Service is to protect the president and the former presidents. Clinton, Bush, Obama, Carter, Trump....no matter how much we do or don't like them doesn't matter. Without the Trumps there, I guess the SS is in charge of security. The FBI would have gone to them to gain entry.

Not really.  35% of people take this as another indication that the government is corrupt.  From Trump's point of view, he got great mileage out of it from his base and pulled some Reps back who were getting lukewarm on him.

Guilty of what?  We don't even know if there will be charges after the documents are examined.

Now if you want to talk about perception of guilt, it is him taking the 5th and not answering questions about his business and tax evasion in his NY deposition.

They can't get a warrant signed by a judge unless they have some kind of evidence.  So he is guilty of something or they wouldn't have the warrant.  Unless it is one of his family members that they are after, which could be possible too.

Low Key? roflmao. Why don't we read what Alan Dershowitz has to say.

This raid was all for show.

The exact location or that they were located at the compound? That place I'm sure has plenty of rooms and spaces to store items. with 30 agents available and not all on the search/seizure team it could take a while.

Well yeah, when a former president has a warrant for search and seizure executed on their residence it's going to become a show.

Former President Donald Trump is “shattering” fundraising records following the FBI’s raid of his Mar-a-Lago home, his son Eric Trump announced on Tuesday evening.

“Breaking: DonaldJTrump.com is shattering all fundraising records and I’m told has raised more money in the past 24 hours than ever before in recent history!” Eric Trump revealed on TruthSocial and Twitter, suggesting that the raid has riled up the conservative base.

I post the article again as to why Alan Dershowitz says a warrant wasn't necessary.

Quote

“Well, definitely, there is a double standard. We've seen so many instances of allegedly classified material being compromised.

“The key point that everybody is missing here is that Donald Trump was not in Mar-a-Lago, so there was no reason not to issue a subpoena, returnable tomorrow.

“So, that there's no claim that Trump could have destroyed anything. This should have been a subpoena, not a search warrant. If it is a search warrant, it has to have a high level of cause demonstrating that the evidence would have been destroyed.”

What’s more, the agents had no right to open Trump’s safe, as they did, without a special warrant that goes above and beyond a normal search warrant, Dershowitz noted:

“Not only that, but under the law, if you seize a safe, you don't go into the safe - you have to get a special warrant to get into the safe, and you have to prove that the material in the locked safe would have been destroyed.”

“They darn well better have smoking-gun proof,” the Constitution scholar and law professor said. And, since it’s unlikely they do, the FBI has violated Justice Department rules, Dershowitz declared:

Fundraising for what? He won't win another presidency.

So I'm assuming this is crowd funding for future legal fees?

If the American people are p***ed and give him money, they will really be p***ed (maybe even get out the pitchforks) when they find out the money is not for what he claims it is.   People are idiots to send him money for anything.

Mr. Dershowitz, while a brilliant man isn't a federal investigator and not privy to details and scope of the investigation. Sideline squawking form experts on both sides is typical in these events though. They can execute a search and seizure warrant if they like. Even if there isn't a smoking gun it doesn't make a former POTUS exempt from these things if they are suspected of doing something. Conversely, if there isn't a smoking gun and this was some nefarious collusion then it would embolden Trump and strengthen his platform.

My guess it was invented in some era that thought it was better to give someone another opinion besides lying while under oath which of course anyone who would pled the 5th would do the wiseguy flicks show us that.

No, it has a longer much more noble history.  In 17th century European governments, a person could be abused or tortured to secure a confession.  The founders rightfully opposed that, they did not want the start to be able to wring a confession out of a suspect with cruel means.  It is a good thing at its root.  Like anything else, it can be abused.

I am so tired of the Trump news, he gets fed by the stories whether they are positive or negative about him.  We need to quit feeding the dragon, he thrives on this kind of stuff and he doesn't deserve it.   We need to forget him, put him in his rightful place (a closet or dungeon) and forget about him.
