Woman dies after 'slipping' out of seat on rollercoaster and falling 26ft

The incident occurred on a 26ft ride at Klotti Wildlife and Leisure park in Klotten, Germany at around 4:30pm on Saturday (August 6), Koblenz Public Prosecutor's Office have said.

The 57-year-old who died in the tragic accident has not yet named.

Reports say that police have been trying to establish if the rollercoaster death 'was the result of the fault of a third party'.

Public prosecutors said on Monday (August 8) that 'there is currently no initial suspicion of criminal conduct'.

Specific details around the incident remain unclear.

A follow-up posted last night (August 8) read: "Dear Guests, starting tomorrow the 9th August 2022 we will reopen our KLOTTI park.
