+Grim Reaper 6 Posted August 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2022 After investigation, Sheriff’s Detectives were able to determine that the victim’s 12 year old son unintentionally discharged a firearm striking his mother causing her death. The child originally fabricated a story that detectives determined was not possible. The child eventually gave a true account of what happened. Evidence on the scene supports that the shooting was unintentional and the offense will be addressed through the Family Court system. The family has been cooperative throughout the process and the child will remain with them. This offense is a tragedy for the Cook family and the entire community. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/officer-s-son-12-accidentally-shoots-mom-dead-a-cautionary-tale/ar-AA10wCQx?cvid=3a6193ceea2d4e258eede3f296c4fe8e 2 Top

Accidentally kills mum with his police dads gun, and then thinks he has to make up a story so that he doesn’t get in trouble. I was hoping the article would go into how the kid got his hands on the gun. So sad. 3 Top

I am not a pusher of gun control however i do feel it should be as hard to get and own a gun as it is to drive a car but its not. There simply is zero excuse this happens and less than zero when its a cops family, yeah im placing higher responsible on a cop over cletus with his hogleg. 2 Top

I do enough pushing for all three of us It's the kids life I'm concerned about. How does killing your mum affect you? That's going to be a rough ride for the poor kid. Two lives ruined by one shot. 2 Top
