So, I didn’t know what a fish finger was for sure, but after the video, yes, that’s what I thought it was.  Ok, so being turned into a fish finger by aliens would not be pleasant.  Here’s what I don’t get, wouldn’t the boy have to be turned into many fish fingers due to his mass, and not just one finger?  Perhaps the aliens ate all the other fish fingers and just left the one behind because they had enough to eat?

In any event, it was nice of the mum to give that little fish finger a comfortable pillow to lay upon.

You are not taking into account the density of the fish finger.
