They should be locked up and the key melted down.

Do you reckon that will happen?

There's more corruption than meets the eye. If a politician is a multi-millionaire on their salary. You know they're getting dirty money.

Ciavarella is serving a 28 year prison sentence for this scandal and is 72 years old.  That's a life sentence at his age and I'm sure he's getting a lot of unwanted attention unless they've (likely) got him under special protection.  Conahan released in 2020 to home confinement due to the COVID pandemic and only had 6 years left on his sentence at the time.

It's not enough for what they did to those kids and their futures.

No.  This sounds like a civil suit for monetary damages.  What those two guys did was evil.  There's no telling what kind of emotional damage was done to those kids.

Folks, let's not make the topic a bickerment about political parties. Keep the discussion to the OP topic.

Many bar associations currently harbor criminals without any check on them. All you have to do is look at the Murdaugh case in South Carolina to get a sense of the phenomenon. The state bar sheltered multiple criminal attorneys in South Carolina, exactly as they did in PA.

The number of bad apples we can find, is likely the tip of an iceberg.

If we allow the corruption of our legal system to continue, unchecked, the dead will soon be piled up, like cordwood.

Exactly ….. this is a no-brainer.

Extreme greed extends across the entire bar association. Political affiliation is not a factor in this type of corruption. We see it in both major parties.

Those making and administering the laws, must be subject to greater penalties when they violate the law, or the system will eventually fail.
