Quiz: Do you want Boris Johnson to remain as PM?

MANY Tory grassroots members wish lazy, incompetent liar Boris Johnson could continue as PM. Do you share their inexplicable nostalgia? Take this test and find out.

What do you think of Boris Johnson as a person?

1) All the evidence suggests he’s an egotist who uses other people, and has very little respect for women.

2) He’s a lovely, dependable family man with a pretty young wife. He was going to build a treehouse for Wilf, and not many dads can say they’ve done that. Admittedly someone else would have paid for it and done the work, but he’s very busy.

Do you feel Johnson is preferable to Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak?

His hair. Right at the get-go he should have been rejected because of his hair, and I'm not even joking(same thing with Trump). If a grown man thinks it's okay to appear in public and on the world stage looking like that, he should be shunned by everybody(possibly even taken out and shot).

Boris, scourge of the left and far too effective at winning for his own good. :P

I`ve said before (as a Tory member) Boris is more popular than Truss and Sunak combined, amongst the rank and file.

The plans to ease the cost of living by Truss and Sunak will drive inflation up higher as they increase demand. Hence, whoever it is, isn`t going to last long. And the good news is in the next leadership contest Boris can stand again.

This is also why he was making comments saying that he would be back before a year is out. My answer:

3) Lets avoid black and white thinking, Boris is a man, not a monster or an angel. He got Brexit done, got us most of the way through coronavirus, did a fairly good job, but liked to party.

That alone should disqualify him from running for PM again.

I want Boris back.

No MP is fit to run the UK, if they had appraisals they'd be sacked constantly, ah yes, that's what happens to the PM.

At least Boris has comedy value.

Starmer has gone missing, doesn't have any presence, don't even know the names of other party leaders.

Manipulating psychopaths would sum the navel gazing chocolate teapots. And their mindless he said, she said bickering makes them sound like school kids.

He won't even be a MP by the end of the year once the Privileges Committee complete their investigation, let alone PM.

But I am surprised people want a PM who routinely lies- he lied to the Queen to get Parliament illegally prorogued, he lied to Parliament about Partygate, he lied to the electorate about building 40 new hospitals by the end of his term, he champions corruption, he lied about the funding of his gold wallpaper, he lied about Brexit Benefits, and he signed the NI Protocol in bad faith. All for self-advancement. What is the magical hold he has over some people? They like being lied to and having their tax money funneled off into private Tory donor's bank accounts? I really don't understand it.

He hasn't got Brexit done. The UK hasn't implemented the NIP as agreed, and he has tried to renage on his deal. If Truss passes the NIP Bill it will have grave constitutional implications and the UK could end up in a trade war with the EU and the US.

We still don't do agreed customs checks on imports from the EU along our South Coast (Rees Mogg recognises to do so would harm our economy - the best Brexit is one not enacted, of course) putting our industries at a disadvantage as their exports are subject to the WA and TCA agreed checks. The port authorities are threatening to sue the government for the 100s of millions they spent on customs posts. Other countries will eventually take legal action against the UK under WTO rules under preferred country rules.

The ending of FOM has led to increased immigration from Asia and Africa and still does not address the shortages we need filled as they are relatively unskilled.

The only thing Boris has done is repeated mindless slogans "Oven Ready Deal", "Levelling Up", "High Wage, High Skilled Economy".

His government has actually done nothing except increase inequality, and embezzle billions of pounds through the PPE VIP lanes.

I think the public are beginning to wake up and smell the coffee, though.

They ALL lie.

But at least Boris gets stuff done as he understands the system and how it really ticks.

The left sit there pointing out all the errors he makes, and there are many, but they have zero answers themselves.

So the opposition supporters sit there saying, I really don't understand. That's very true, they don't understand as witnessed in the political mesages sent out, they miss the mark. Want to get the Tories out? The left need to stand for something and stop the moany rants as it makes them sound arrogant and the majority of voters just shrug and stick with the incumbents because they ALL lie.

We don't have an option of competent and honest MP's and the left sound like moaning weasels.

It's their own fault they don't get elected, stop blaming the electorate and they may finally make progress to getting into power. And when they do..... nothing will change.

He doesn't get anything done. It is just slogans. Fair enough, they are slogans people want to hear, but they are nonsense. He has caused immense damage to democracy and the economy.

He does get stuff done though

Arms to Ukraine, gisted the G8, in PMQ's you can discover a whole world of stuff he does.

But again, it's the left line being trotted out. Just slogans, democracy and economy bad...

Liebour... silent on plans just sit there "miss, he didn't do this, but he did this, he should be punished, look everyone he's immoral" while the voters look on, still with no alternative answer.

The Tories will win the next election with relative ease.
