Er dog was trying to push the immigrants into Europe unless they paid a hefty fee to Turkey (which they did).  He got stuck with them and the EU eventually closed the borders, now they're stuck with them.  Not sure the EU still pays Turkey.

Doggydoo hangs the issue over the E.U.'s head like a Damocles Sword. That's quite a bit of money of which could be better spent on physically fortifying the E.U.'s peripheral border.

Despite getting paid to do a job, the job is far from getting wholeheartedly done. The E.U.'s incompetence in auditting is also at fault:

It is great to see this model of Islamic charity being so generous to his co-religionists in a time of crisis.  He is even more charitable than the Saudi Arabians who have two entire empty cities available (Mecca and Medina when the Haj isn't on) but have taken exactly ZERO refugees from Syria.  Think long and hard about the SUPREMELY IMPORTANT Islamic duty of charity to other Muslims in the Koran, and then decide if non-Muslim countries really need to take any refugees, because apparently Allah says no, not necessary, apparently.

You are not completely wrong or right. Saudi Arabia has about 700000 syrian refugees while the other gulfstates have basicly none.

This is not a religious issue but a political one as far as I was able to understand. Oman, Katar UAE.. present themselves as rich nations attracting foreign billioners so the sight of refugees would damage the "view".

Islam used to be a religion that puts charity on top of a muslim's list but this is now just a farce. There is no charity concept within the middle east muslim community anymore. Greed, money and power has corrupted them in full.

 I do agree with the fact that way too many refugees from middle east are moving to Europe as opposed to nearby wealthy countries. There should be a cap.

As for the turkish far right leader...well he is a far right leader and he is acting like any other far right leader.

How would a billionaire be able to see the difference between a refugee and a native of those countries, aside from the fact that Syrian males don't cover their heads with towels. If that's the problem, these oil-rich states still have enough resources for assigning towels to each Syrian male

I am asking myself those questions since a long time. There is nothing muslim or islamic left in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Iran...Ever since the Golden Age of Islam was undercut by the cultural and nationalistic tribes it was going downhill with everything. At some point and according to Islam, many inventions have been achieved by muslims especially in Healthcare, Science, Mathematics, Philantrophy....and all that is gone now. They, We, went back to really the stoneage with nothing to show for except hate, hypocricy and lies. 

The syrian refugees or any refugee from middle east should have been looking for refuge in the middle east, culturaly and geographicly closer. But the hate towards them in the arab countries is even bigger than in Europe.

I always try to defend Islam but I am running out of arguments thanks to the "muslims" in middle east.

Here's a solution to Europe's demographic demise. Simply fill up this empty housing of which could accomodate millions of persons allegedly seeking refuge. Because the cost of living there is by far less expensive than in Zoorope, affected governments would save enormous costs to taxpayers, by simply contracting the welfare of these model citizens over to the Chinese government who would then adorn them with cashless currency, so that they need not worry about getting robbed, and then keep them behaved through Social Scoring :

That sounds like anti-immigrant racism against early white settlers by Native Americans.  Didn't they see the economic, educational and technical advantages of encouraging migration?  If the locals had stronger bureaucracy and governmental programs and institutions, this could have been a windfall for them.  Instead they behaved like xenophobes, and see how it turned out?
