UFO appears in official logo of US aviation intelligence office

Social media was buzzing this week after the image of a flying saucer was spotted in an official intelligence office seal.

I thought it was a hoax.   I did find the logo but I am still not sure it is real as it does not come up on any website for the Office of U.S. Aviation intellegence but it is in a list of pictures of the logos for the intelligences agencies.  There are several Times articles about it and most say it is a hoax, but one says it is a joke.

The actual website for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence does not have this logo

That's what I said, it is either a joke or a hoax.   The whole thing looks photoshopped, not just the saucer.  And it is not on any page of the .gov link that I included.

looks fake.  The UFO is completely different from all other elements in the logo.  They are all flat, no shadow, highlights, yet the UFO is 3D and shiny.

Ufo blooper aside, the logo design is overall just sloppy and terrible.

I noticed the triangle aircraft with the blue contrail is making a sharp right turn than straight while the others continue to go straight.
