Nord Stream 2 - blocked by Germany before Russia invaded Ukraine.

Norway disclosed that there were unidentified drones around the pipes. In the "safe zone". The safe zone is apparently a set area around the pipes that unauthorized vehicles cannot legally enter

Just dropping by to remind victims of russian propaganda that EU natural gas "winter" storages are full. They were filled up from non-russian sources. 

putin managed to screw up his most lucrative business. Every other supplier of natural gas for EU will profit. It's just putin, the master strategist, that will have to keep selling at discount prices to China and whoever. 

 

At first, I didn't think that putler blew up his own pipes, but on the other hand, he's doing hilariously stupid things lately so it's actually rather convincing that he was imagining the destruction of all NS pipes will create panic in the EU. It's possible because the stupid orc is not receiving realistic reports (his suborcinates are competing at telling fairytales that follow his narrative) and even if he was receiving realistic reports he wouldn't believe in them. 

It was his irrational idea that he can easily blackmail the EU with gas. He's incapable of admitting the mistake, so he's going on with his "plan". It can't be that he was wrong, so he keeps believing the EU is at the verge of total panic, bankruptcy, implosion and freezing - yeah, inside that mind blowing up NS must create that final, total breakdown.

How would they get the gas? My understanding is that the remaining pipelines (that aren't blown up) run through Ukraine and are not operational. Probably won't be until the war is over

Meanwhile, the asset that Russia paid for which is now broken will have to be repaired at Russias cost
