There isn't and as been said many times the board is just a board.

I never heard anyone say the board is special, you can draw one with chalk.

Penn and Teller did this years gao on their show "Bullsh!t". Unsuprisingly, the participants did not get meaningful answers.

TV magicians and barely funny comedians are not really a test.

Can you explain what you mean by 'fear is the mind killer'?

It is a quote from Herbert's famous "Dune" novel taught by the Bene Gesserit sisterhood as a means of training self control.  The idea being that scared people become somewhat mindless.

As an aside that some people might find interesting.  Ouija boards on the whole work more poorly with fewer people.  A single user will normally get no results, and the same goes for 2 users.  The minimum number for results is 3 and the best number seems to be 4, with normally no more than 6.

The reason the Ouija board works is due to the ideomotor effect which in many ways is more mysterious than ghosts.  It is interesting that the ideomotor effect doesn't seem to function as well with fewer people involved in the ritual.

Wherever the info transmitted comes from, it results in some interesting literature:

Typically the group decided on contacting a spirit, so they share that belief or idea. Basically it's like synching up thoughts (not psychic). Basically I think one of the factors with group success is mirror neurons. Of course when you blindfold the participants it all goes out the window.
