If God exists, and it went in your mind, you would explode.

But we don't explode, because time, I suppose, acts as a cushion.

Only people who believe can tell you what God wants.

You don’t.  By saying that only believers can tell you what God wants, is saying no one knows.  You’ll know if there’s a God on the day you take your last breath, or you will know nothing.  Just like everyone else.

Hi Grim

Yes it’s true to an extent, many many years ago I realized that problems were like math because they can be broken down to a root cause. Many problems in life are generated through self so that is where we should look for solutions first as far as I am concerned and have employed in my life.

I have often heard believes make the claim that unbelievers blame god which is ridiculous. Only someone who believes in god cam blame god, as an unbeliever myself do have to wonder why they would think that I would single out their god out of the multitudes of gods just so I can blame things on something I don’t think exists.

Jay it’s a factual thing to say that approximately 90% of the bad situations and problems we encounter in life are brought about by our own actions. However, there are a small number of situations that occur that add a great deal of pain to our lives that are beyond our control. Personally the worst situation that even occurred in my life was the loss of my daughter in October 2012 do to an illness that occurred in the 1980s and which finally took her away from me and wife. Even with that said my wife and I never blamed anyone or any deity for her illness, there is no time for such nonsense in a situation like that. All one can do to adapt to the changes life has brought you, and to make certain ones loved one gets the best care humanly possible.

Jay I believe what defines us as people is how well we adapt to situations beyond our control these situations are the hardest situations that anyone can deal with because either one stands up or they fail the ones they love. In my opinion if one fails, the self recriminations and regret will destroy that individual because all the blame falls upon their shoulders. While I am not trying to criticize anyones faith or beliefs and if some get comfort from them more power to them. But in my practiced beliefs I will stick with personal responsibility and accountability in these situations because who else will care for another’s loved ones if one doesn’t do so themselves at any personal cost necessary.

Take care Jay.

Stuff happens in life and if something goes wrong learn and adapt as it happened in a physical world that we can exercise influence on to change it and ourselves.

I agree Jay we must adapt to what life my throw at us, especially in situations that occur that are totally beyond our control.

Evidence that the human race has been contacted since people do not take belief in the ancient gods serious anymore.

What makes the Betty and Barney Hill case so especially compelling, is the circumstance of it release.  The psychotherapist betrayed them.  They never authorized their story be told, until it was already done so fraudulently.

Brought up as a Catholic.  Baptized, Confirmed, and altar boy.  No pediphile priests in my history.  Then I converted to born-again Christian at 17 years.

I don't think it's unusual to wake up immediately from a dream and have a hard time realizing it wasn't real. It was just a dream.

I think in some cases it becomes overwhelming. And a person might linger for a long time if not for the rest of their lives thinking that the premise of the dream was real when in actuality it wasn't.

Then you factor in how a woman often, at least it was often in the past, would preoccupy herself to submit to every whim and desire that she thought her husband desired.

Etc.

bull****.  Do some research. The Benny and Barney Hilll case was accepted by a significant number of people I. America, and around the world.  It was a real thing. Culturally.  And perhaps in reality?

Whatever. We’re all gonna die some day.  Some people die badly.
