4 college students found murdered In Idaho.

Expanding on Dad’s recent revelations:

Odd that Dad said, “the killer didn’t need to go upstairs.”

My guess is, Kaylee, being the more athletic, may have simply fought back more. You can’t assume much from severity alone, if you’ve got two victims against a single killer, in the same room.

This situation only adds to the danger for the criminal, if it was a single individual. The risk is insane. It’s so easy for a victim to dial 911.

I’m now guessing there were two killers, one per floor, and they likely used night vision gear.

Dad doesn’t realize this was more likely a professional, and not a suicide mission. One against two, in the same room, and on two floors, is not the kind of risk an amateur would be expected to take in the age of cell phones; which, neither Ted Bundy or Danny Rollings had to face.

If I murdered 4 young, beautiful, presumably innocent people, I think I would be an emotional wreck... enough to either kill myself or turn myself in.

Apparently this killer is not at this time capable of any hint of normal human remorse.

This is scary.

I don't know docy. Since the print is white and by a piece of evidence tape, I would say it's been dusted and lifted. The fact that a reporter or photographer saw it and took the picture is the only reason we know about it. Have patience.

Maddie's ex boyfriend...

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/boyfriend-of-slain-idaho-student-madison-mogen-breaks-silence-on-bloody-attack/ar-AA14VIi9

Former NYPD detective who is now a private investigator thinks parents shouldn't hire private PI yet.

https://news.yahoo.com/idaho-murder-victims-families-not-162934626.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9kdWNrZHVja2dvLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAA6xj5NOYELU8ULV4VkbTcY69ajWu6vYUu4ueamZ9cznT7LxXCxidv2HMzq5JqPLChSMMCkvVvbIwKM4-yQKUXyt1UG8WVNSA3VbUZeP5UyPoHVRMSEudQZNisgxRn2OlPoEA_3bABQaX_q-Rb3JiSdTxmzjeuOSmkJCr7gs24PQ

"I do this for a living. I would say that's the last thing the police, the FBI and the state police need is yet another person looking for information," the former detective explained. "They need to really control the flow of information. They need to pay a lot of respect to the families of these victims, and it's a tightrope walk, but they need to do their job and people need to let them do their job as best they can."

As someone with a law enforcement background, Weisberg said local, state and federal officials are "spending every waking minute of their lives trying to solve this thing, and there's no one that cares more about it — besides the families, obviously — than the people that are working this, and they want results, and they want to have this perpetrator behind bars immediately."

"I really don't think a private investigator could be as much help on this. I think the public needs to come together and share whatever information that they have. But besides that, the police are the ones tasked with this, and we should all let them do their job," the former detective said, adding that while PIs can be very effective, hiring one in this case could bring "a hindrance in this situation" by putting more strain on detectives who are spending hour upon hour trying to capture the killer while also preserving "the integrity of the case."

I`m guessing if that hand print is the killer `s, that  killer was peeking through that window by following them. so what   window is it ? the sliding glass door, the kitchen window ? what  window?

It's not a sliding door. It could be the hand print of one of the roommates. Any of them could have touched the window at any time. The police saw a hand print and lifted it. That's what they should do. The forensics will tell who's it is.

She thinks the killer knew the kids. But I wouldn't take it to court yet.

Police will begin to return the students' belongings to their families.

https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/06/us/university-of-idaho-student-killings-investigation-update/index.html

CNN —

Moscow police on Wednesday will begin returning to their families some personal belongings of the four University of Idaho students found slain last month, the department said.

“It’s time for us to give those things back that really mean something to those families and hopefully to help with some of their healing,” Chief James Fry said in a brief video statement Tuesday.

“I’m a dad, I understand the meaning behind some of those things,” Fry said in answering why he wanted to personally take part in the effort. The items being removed are “no longer needed for the investigation,” the department said.

Police have not identified a suspect or found the murder weapon, which they believe to be a knife, though investigators have “a lot of quality leads,” an Idaho state police spokesperson said Tuesday morning.

“We’re still working through thousands of leads and tips, and we have quality information that we’re working on,” Idaho State Police spokesperson Aaron Snell told CNN about the case that has put the college town of Moscow on edge, with no arrests made or any motive announced.

Snell declined to specify what he meant by quality leads and information. His comments come amid frustration from victims’ relatives and some in the community over what they say has been a slow release of investigative details.

Authorities haven’t announced or encouraged a reward in the case, Snell said, because they fear that will diminish the quality of future leads.

Police just released the body cam footages of this incident. I saw the footage on TV but it isn't linked online yet that I can find. Two body cams from two angles and three students who were there.

Kaylee's dad also said today that the killer entered on the second floor. Either through the sliding glass door or a window.

Social media is all over hoodie guy from the food truck again. He was badly harassed like the other guy mentioned in the thread that went to police to give his DNA. He had given some TV interviews too. The internet sleuths are saying he's not home anymore and even that he left the country.

When I find a link to the body cam footages I'll post it.

You know they already know to do that from the beginning, right?

More questions, while in the house  why did that killer go up the stairs to kill more kids.  and not  go down the  stairs to killed more  kids? Unless the killer thought it was just a basement  and nobody was there

Still can't find any thing about this body cam footage release. News National aired it last night but no one has posted it. Not even CNN or FOX has mentioned it.

Idaho police have just released that they are looking for a white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra that was seen in the area the night of the murders.

When they went back looking a tire prints, I'll bet they were looking for these. Shouldn't talk out of school, but........

Police did not share any further details on what information they believe the person or persons in the car might know, or how the car came to their attention. In previous statements, the Moscow Police Department has said that it is dealing with thousands of tips and more than 113 pieces of physical evidence

The license plate is currently unknown.

Investigators believe the occupant, or occupants, of the car may have “critical information to share regarding this case.”

“Your information, whether you believe it is significant or not, might be the piece of the puzzle that helps investigators solve these murders,” police said in the release.

The link above will open the police release about this.
