Some of Trump's longtime allies are refusing to back Donald Trump for nomination in 2024.

No I do not. I believe that he will get the nomination.  Lindsey Graham is already behind him again.

Republicans have no fixes for any of the problems we are having so it will not be by logic that he wins.

No, he is ruling the party by an iron fist just like a true authoritarian does. They fear him primarying him, so they cower in fear.

And we see it here, literal lock step with the annointed one; no diversion, lest ye be outcast and dispatriotized. It really is bizarre, you have to see it with your own eyes to believe it, to see how indoctrinated some can become and unironically claim everyone else is brainless.

Do you honestly believe Republicans are going to refuse him the nomination when he has the largest following of any Republican candidate?

Yes, I honestly believe the Republicans are Not going to back him or even let him run on their primary ticket.

On this we agree. It's smart to rebrand, and he needs rebranding, badly.

I listened to most of Trump's speech, and he made some noteworthy arguments. The problem for me is, his handling of the pandemimc is one of many disqualifiers.  He has the foresight of a flea, and the character of a hyena.  He belongs in a zoo, where he can be fed and pointed at, but unable to mingle with the human crowd.

The only thing I know of is moth balls, but you don't want to breathe the air very long after you put them in.   If you can put them in and shut the van up for a couple of days, then put a mask on and clean it out they should be gone.

I used to use Decon, but it is not good if you have a cat or dog that might eat the rodents or the decon.

Yes, this time of year the homeless from up north come down here, the ones who stay in Albuquerque in the summer go to Las Cruces for winter.   We have a problem and some of it has to do with the houseing prices sky rocketing in the last year, some of it because we have a VA hospital but no help for the veterans so they come here and live rough while they are getting treatment or waiting to see a doctor.   Our mayor tried to get a city ordinance against giving any one on the street money but the city got sued and that nipped that in the bud.  The ***hat also shut down the tiny homes village for the homeless by making it impossible for any of them to qualify to get in to one, and he shut down his predecessor's program to send buses to a few locations and pick up anyone (no questions asked) who would work for 6 hours.  The work was work that city workers couldn't get to, like trash pickup, fixing fences, painting buildings, etc.  They were fed breakfast and lunch and got 9 dollars an hour.  Much less expensive than the current mayors attempts at removing them plus it saved money on employees required to do those jobs.

You didnt ask me but i will butt in, in my gear head car circles mice, rats, squirrels etc will ruin interiors,  chew wires etc a big issue and sometimes people want less than "rat poision" so here are a few things that work for people.

A bar of soap, strong cheap soap, it might get chewed on but they dont hang around.

Dryer sheets, yeah, sounds weird but they smell good and placed under seats dash trunk etc seem to repel.

They stink but mothballs work very good.

Cedar oil small rodents contrary to it sold as their bedding do not like it and it gives them nervious issues.

Thanks for butting in bats :)     We do have a soap dish, right by the slider…and two new bars in a drawer…we’ll unwrap one..or two.

Dryer sheets or mothballs would drive me out !     I just reached under the seat and pulled up an old bag of Shake Away” Mouse Repellant..it lists Cedar Oil ,but only 0.25 %.        I just blew some more Black Pepper through a straw into the ceiling area!!  and into the ‘kitchen’ Cabinet.and under the couch and in some nooks and crannies .    We’ve trapped them in live traps before … we’ll keep battling them until We Prevail !*!
I’ll see if I can contact trump about ..he has an answer for everything. . there’s nO problem he can’t unsolve. :w00t:

Trump is "reportedly" keeping tabs on those in the GOP who are not endorsing him.

Donald Trump Is Reportedly Getting Petty & 'Keeping Track' of Republicans Who Aren't Endorsing Him Early On (msn.com)

“He said it was ‘not a tough call’ to make and that there was one right move: endorsing him ASAP,” one insider revealed. Donald Trump must not have anyone saying no to him on his team because he needs to read the writing on the wall: Fox News isn’t on his side either. The only endorsements he has secured are considered “diehard loyalists,” but most of the Republican Party, who stood beside him in 2016 and 2020, has abandoned ship for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Absolutely no reason to believe this is not "reportedly" but factual. And here is another reason he should not be President: instead of focusing on issues to help America he will focus on past and future revenge. When will the party as a whole move past this spoiled little toddler who never grew up?

Glad to hear the GOP is waking up!   ..   people like to mention..low Gas prices  under trump, while forgetting that the main reason for those low gas prices was the extremely low demand ..caused by, the CDC mandated Covid shutdowns.  The entire country was like a ghost town as we travelled across it that spring.  There were not nearly as many Trucks as usual, and nowhere near as many cars, etc. as travel was being restricted.    You can thank Covid for the low gas prices during that period… NOT trump!    (In a way, you can thank trump, because of his refusal to acknowledge the seriousness of the pandemic as it continued to grow)

One of us is confused about the term "Liberal", lately it has been used for those who think the government should wipe our butts.   The libertarians are the opposite, they want the government to step back and leave us alone.   Like in the early 1800's.

Liberals are not left wing, so yes Grim is correct. Only in the US are liberals considered left wing.

Liberals }} less govern, less state, less regulation == more freedoms

He emanates such holiness.  "Scumbag" "Lowlife" "Loser" "Horseface" "Dog" "Slime Ball" "Coco Chow" and dozens of other insulting names he has called people. These evangelicals should not be playing politics to win souls. They should be winning souls without bias and Trump certainly does nothing to improve the Christian image. Quite the opposite.

An LOL moment.

Surely people weren't fooled, when he went to a evangelical church, while campaigning in 2015, and didn't know what a collection plate was...

People got fooled because they wanted to be fooled.

Yes!   That is why I have been objecting to the "Left" "Right" labels that don't even have any meaning.   The Libertarians are the most liberal, the democrats the most "socialist" speaking, the republican the most "big government".  However, in reality, there is no difference between money grubbing democrats and money grubbing republicans except the lies they tell to get people to vote for them.

Your certainly right, they all have their hands out trying to make that next dollar. Sadly none of Americas political parties are truly out for the American people, everything centers around Special Interest Groups.
