Also, he is announcing against the advice of almost everybody, but Trump does what he wants, and blames anyone but himself when things don't go his way.

The former president on Tuesday had formally announced he is mounting another White House campaign for 2024.

“I have never heard of such a thing. They found nothing. I announce and then they appoint a special prosecutor,” he said Friday. “They found nothing, and now they take some guy who hates Trump. This is a disgrace and only happening because I am leading in every poll in both parties.”

 

Now we see why a special counsel had to be appointed, because "I am not going to partake" so Trump will not run out the clock on this.

The only one who can dismiss the special counsel is the Attorney General, and this is why Marjorie Greene Taylor is calling for Merrick Garland to be impeached.

Not sure that him getting one vote is much motivation for him to come up here to start with. He is under criminal investigation on several fronts right now so would think the border would be closed to him. Maybe if he bought a plot of land say 6’x6’x4’ we could bury him for you.

Trump has 2 years that he must keep the enthusiasm up.  So far, all he seems to have is old moth-eaten material.  If he is going to hold interest, he will need to come up with something new.  On the other hand, all of his rivals can sit back and watch, make a few non-committal  remarks  until its clear that Donald Trump has become so boring even his supporters are looking for someone new.  DeSantis is term limited as governor and he has raised a ton of money. He can wait a year before he announces and play the very good odds that Trump will shoot himself in the foot multiple times  during the next year.

Trump is a savy TV guy, he knows how to build anticipation and excitement and not reveal next season's plot too far ahead of time.  A suspicious person would think the only reason Trump filed 2 years early is to try to duck prosecution.

All his rivals have do is announce and sit back and watch Trump attack them relentlessly. I simply won't vote for someone who does no wrong and it is always someone else's fault. That may be appealing to some people, but it is a big turn off to me.

Primary elections start sooner than 2 years (it is the end of November now, so maybe a year and a few months)

Is there a deadline for GOP to endorse a runner? Sounds like if so its years away so much green between then and now trump will blunder over and over i believe he is going to get all manic over trying to force people to jump early to endorse him which of course is just a slighly veiled version of his played out bullying and threats, which people are over with, then desantis can be all humble and say he thanks those who back him.

So today i saw my first trump support out on the highway heading to dinner there was an old pos school bus that appeared to be doubling as a house was covered in more anti biden stuff than support trump stuff they were parked by the roadside if im not mistaken trying to sell trump 2024 flags ( made in china ) i do not believe that roadside is zoned for peddling so i do hope they dont get fined. Also zero people were there buying the wares.

There are literally storefronts that sell nothing but Trump merchandise, flag companies that specialize in MAGA stuff; it's a very lucrative business, apparently. 

It's really nothing new, The Brainwashing of My Dad is an awesome story with a happy ending. It all boils down to echo chambers, when you post nothing but articles but one news sources, I just assume you don't do your due diligence. When you post in nothing but memes, it occurs to me that you don't think for yourself very often.

You assume wrong.  I don't post in "nothing but memes" so I have to assume you have not read much that I have posted.   I don't post youtube videos to support my ideas and opinions.   Why do you feel the need to attack?   The polarization and disunity and divisiveness manufactured by "Us vs Them" with very strange definitions of "Us" and "Them" in politics is disturbing at the very least, and I assume you have fallen into that zombie trap.  (I can dish as good as I get)
