I think DeSantis is losing quite a bit of ground because of Disney.  A Republican govenor shouldn't be picking fights with business, but if they do, they should win.  DeSantis being publicly outmsarted by Disney put him in the "loser" category and the whole idea of retaliation by raising taxes just smacks of being a poor loser instead of a problem solver. Ron DeSantis: How Disney maneuvered to save its Florida kingdom, leaving governor threatening retaliation | CNN Politics

Course if Trump wants to win the general, he will not only have to protect Social Security and Medicare but also come out in favor of a woman's right to choose.  MAGA heads would blow up if he did.

This might sound controversial but I think it's time to allow women to vote

I disagree, politicians should never pick a fight with a business, whether they can win or not.   Winning what?  That is the question.  Of course picking a fight with Disney is just stupid, they own most of the U.S. in one way or another (they just bought Hulu not too long ago, they buy rights to all kinds of books and movies, they mass market everything all over the world).  What was he thinking?   (seems he wasn't)

UFC is probably a great place for Trump to campaign.

Nothing makes Trump look better than a good dozen serious blows to the head.

He did get slammed through a table on a WWE episode at one time.

Wrong!

Trump slammed Vince McMahon ringside and later shaved Vince's head clean after winning the Battle of the Billionaires at WrestleMania 23 back in 2007.

Well pardon me for getting something incorrect. At least I can admit it.

If that footage existed it would be my screensaver.

Don't upset the GOP now ......

Trump-Backed House Candidate Suggested Women Shouldn’t Vote Or Govern

A Michigan congressional candidate backed by former President Donald Trump once suggested that women shouldn’t vote or govern, arguing that the U.S. “has suffered as a result of women’s suffrage.”

John Gibbs, who won Michigan’s GOP primary against an incumbent who voted to impeach Trump, posted the sexist comments online while he was a student at Stanford University in the early 2000s, according to internet archives obtained by CNN.

Gibbs founded a “think tank” named the Society for the Critique of Feminism, where he argued that patriarchy “is the best model for the continued success of a society” — Voting and governing should be left to the men who can think “without relying upon emotional reasoning,” whereas women should merely focus on raising children, Gibbs asserted.

Ahhh conservatives...... So silly.

I second that, but you left off the exclamation mark.   You were using that word as an expletive, I assume.   If he was in college in 2000 his grandmother wasn't even around for the Women's Sufferage movement.  What a twit.

Trump's odds just keep getting better and better to be the Republican nominee! I've been tracking the odds since basically the time Trump announced he was running, and last week he was at $1.83. That was the first time Trump floated in the betting, because the time before that he was at $1.80. Prior to that, he was at $2.20, and when he first announced his run he was the outsider at $3.80.

As far as being president, Biden is still the overall favourite ($2.70, vs Trump's $3.40 and Ron DeSantis' $5) but Trump is now the outright second favourite (Ron DeSantis was the second favourite in previous days, around $3 while Trump was around $4).

There's still a long time for things to change, but the fact that the odds are getting better all the time suggest that Trump isn't drifting the way people seem to claim he's drifting. I still think Ron DeSantis will be the nominee (has DeSantis even announced a run yet, expect a sharp change in the odds when/if he announces), but the odds from those who make a living off taking people's money seem to suggest Trump is a firm favourite.

All of the liberals are praying for it.   Some of the others would be harder to beat in a general.

Just waiting for Ivanka, Melania, and the boys to  team up to put Donald in a managed care facility for dementia.  That way they can take the money before it all disappears.  Just like in Game of Thrones,  Trump family loyalty only extends until the patriarch becomes weak enough to take out.   Just imagine Putin or Xi visiting President Trump and feeding him pureed carrots and peas at a "State" dinner at "Pleasant Acres."

What do they make the odds on that now?

Odds are Ivanka, Melania, and Barron take action and liquidate the business, even money.

Don Jr. and Eric make the first move take the money and lose it.  Also even money.

Tiffany receives her law degree and helps one group or the other with the commitment papers,  possible.

Rudy Giuliani's ex-wife petitions to make it a two-fer deal  : a lead pipe cinch.
