The “mah guns, mah flag, mah god” folks’ll never vote for a fella with a “furrign” name, so he might be wiser aiming for a more moderate line and avoiding issues like the number of genders (most folks don’t care as long as it doesn’t affect them) or fossil fuels (because it gives your opposition too much of a stick to beat you with). I reckon he’ll do well campaigning on those other ones though.

1.  In your mind, maybe.  But there's no tangible evidence of that.  There are a tiny few true believers; the rest don't know what they believe.  Please live up to your religious ideals.

2.  What about 45X (Turner Syndrome), 47XXY (Klinefelter Syndrome), 47XXX (Trisomy), 47XYY (Trisomy), 48XXYY (Tetrasomy), 48XXXY (Tetrasomy), 48XXXX (Tetrasomy), 49XXXXY (Pentasomy) and 49XXXXX (Pentasomy)?  Most people with these conditions exhibit two or more cell lines with different genetic signatures.  These conditions are not inherited; they are the result of an error in cell division.  Individuals with these conditions may test either male or female.  Reality is not only stranger than you imagine; it is stranger than you CAN imagine.

3.  Human flourishing can be accomplished without fossil fuels (unless you consider wood to be a fossil fuel).  37% of US electrical energy is now generated from renewables (WWS), with 50% achievable by 2035.  We can completely convert to renewables by 2050.

4.  Reverse racism is still racism.  But it is not racist to recognize that racism exists and has adverse affects on many of our citizens.  It is racist to try to bury the history of slavery under white-washed fairy tales.

5.  An open border is no border.  Where is there such a thing?  Illegal immigration has fallen off markedly under Biden's watch.  Abbott's floating barriers in the Rio Grande are mostly in Mexico - Abbott is the illegal emigrant.

6.  Parents determine the education of their children.  And also their prejudices.  DeSantis wants to do away with education so the right wing can indoctrinate children.  That violates the First Amendment.

8.  Capitalism lifts people up from poverty and also plunges them into poverty.  It must be regulated to make its benefits applicable to all, not just the 1%.

9.  That's what I thought.  Which one is the fourth branch in your estimation?

10.  The Constitution is under attack from the MAGAs.  If Trump wins the next election, there will no no Bill of Rights and much of the Constitution will not function.

Heh, Biden should do the same thing and give Hunter one.  That way when he makes his deals, he can show the seal and just skip getting his father on the phone.

Trump's way does make it easier.  Now the Saudis, Chinese, and Russians know exactly who they have to pay off to get favors as opposed to just taking them on their word for it.

Edit to add: I do get why he is doing it.  I would only want people I approve of profiting off my name instead of people who just pretend to know me.

He very well could be aiming at a VP slot, or cabinet post. Saying the right stuff to the right people will open doors, even if he doesn't win the top prize.

In replacing Drew Findling with Steven Sadow, an Atlanta-based attorney whose website profile describes him as a “special counsel for white collar and high-profile defense,” Trump is adding an attorney who has previously challenged the state’s broad RICO law, under which Trump and his 18 co-defendants have been charged.

For the last 7 years your politics has been hilarious and really entertaining. I like Trump, when he was President I literally wouldn`t go two days without being in hysterics. And if I watched one of his rallies I`d spend the rest of the day laughing.

Biden makes we laugh too but for different reasons, I laugh at him not with him. The US has gone from from a naturally funny person to a complete clown who is slightly more conscious than a braindead cabbage. Now I watch in disbelief as the clown is going to push and push until the US throws an internal wobbly like no one has seen in the western world for a couple of centuries.

Put him in a retirement home before its too late!
