The corruption in DC could never have gotten as bad as it is without help from corporate media. Seems like the "government" has had their own agenda outside of who gets voted in for a long time and the media and all the big corporations are in on it. Like George Carlin said, it is one bit club and you ain't in it!

Where I live I saw a lot of BOM support 2016 then less but a fair amount 2020 now zero, zip, zlitch, its weird no Biden support either lots of support or for local elections none for tweedle dee or tweedle dum. Okay I saw one pos pick up had an old nasty torn up flag that read Fxxx Biden, so I guess that's anti Biden or a man crush but it wasn't support for Donny, What gives? Why no POTUS candidate support? +DieChecker Posted June 29 #1555 Share Posted June 29 Fallout of the Debate seems to be mostly on Joe. Ive not read much regarding Trump's performance. Probably because his main critics are too busy criticizing Joe.
+DieChecker Posted June 29 #1556 Share Posted June 29 https://www.politico.com/news/2024/06/28/trump-biden-debate-attacks-00165874 Quote Over the course of the 90-minute debate, the president was repeatedly upstaged by Donald Trump, who took control from the outset by unleashing an onslaught of invectives that Biden could not match. Quote All debate long, Trump asserted his dominance by taking shot after shot at Biden in quick succession, and keyed off of Biden’s phrases in a way that prevented the incumbent president from building verbal momentum. He was nimble in both launching his lines and responding to Biden’s, setting up a sharp contrast with the current president. ... And while Biden tried to respond, he delivered his attack lines more slowly — sometimes stumbling over them. Trump = mentally nimble Joe = mentally slow Quote The difference was stark: One man, defying his normal demonstrative bravado, calmly skewered his opponent, while the other put up very little to shield himself from the barrage. Biden at times attempted to steer the discussion back to policy, which did little to neutralize Trump’s repeated one-liners. Quote In another instance, a tongue-tied Biden stumbled through his response to a question about the national debt before letting out a raspy: “We finally beat Medicare.” This gave Trump an opportunity to pounce and deliver one of the night’s biggest soundbites: “He’s right, he did beat Medicaid. He beat it to death.” Thats definitely ending up as a meme. Quote “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence,” Trump replied. “I don’t think he knows what he said, either.” It’s not that Biden wasn’t trying to fend off Trump and go on the offense himself. But at times he tripped up over his words, became bogged down by policy or got stuck in almost childish name-calling that failed to give him the clear upper hand. They say dont argue with a moron, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience (Mark Twain??). Overall i think this will tilt undecided voters toward Trump at this point. ESPECIALLY after so many high profile Democrats have come out saying Joe should step away.

acidhead Posted July 6 #1561 Share Posted July 6 OMG, hahaha. There's nobody as quick witted as Trump. Many try, including here on this tiny micronysum of a social media internet forum and even when they have the advantage of taking their time to research, edit before hitting the reply button it still doesn't come close to being as funny. Trump does it in real time. 🤣

Trump does it in real time. 🤣 Trump's thing is it's not about how quick witted he is. His policies and agenda is not good in my opinion. Though the things that bother me most about him is his character , viewpoint , and attitude. He blames everything on something or someone else , he throws people ( even some that have really stuck up for him) , under the bus. He talks **** like he's god of the earth. He's selfish as hell , as well as a chronic liar. I honestly don't think i would trust a damn thing he says. Amongst other things.

Trump, in my opinion, is the epitome of the United States of America. A perfect representation of how the USA is perceived around the world by nations who ever had to deal or be dealt with by them. There are, in my opinion, a lot of people outside the US who view America and Americans as the most arrogant, selfish self serving people they have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I personally know friends and family who when travelling to other countries intentionally wear Canadian flag patches/emblems on their clothing or backpack so they're not mistaken for Americans. Trump embodies that stereotype to a tee.

In my opinion, Canada is the 51st State of America, unofficially obviously. The USA has way more freedom still than Canada. I like that TBH. No offense but too many people today immediately draw lines in the sand when discussing issues. Topics become instantly binary even though there's always grey areas. We are too quick to jump to opposite conclusions or accuse the other as holding an opposite stance or supporting the complete opposite when debating/discussing current and past events. I was describing, in my opinion, how people I've talked with describe the average typical stereotyped American for decades... long before Trump arrived on the political scene in 2015. Joe Biden is not competent to serve a second term and Kamala Harris would be a disaster for America. We need a president who will hold our enemies to account, secure our border, cut our debt, and get our economy back on track. I encourage my delegates to support Donald Trump next week in Milwaukee.) Yea they're golden T sneaker lickers ,But they had little choice when trump took the nominees , so if they keep running , they take votes away from Trump. Trump will be lucky if Milwaukee don't boot him out of the city next week. Edited July 10 by Razman
