I had a cousin from Paris many years ago that went to Spain to study at university and disappeared the day she got there. Her luggage was in the flat that was rented and there were no credit, debit or cash transactions recorded from the time she landed and just vanished. Cops said she was likely abducted and taken to Morocco as a sex slave and that is where it ended.
