Maned wolf spotted on a street, leaves internet stunned - Viral video

We are well aware of wolves. However, most of us might not have heard about 'maned wolf'. A video of one such creature, who is neither a fox nor a wolf has gone viral and the internet is too stunned.

In a video shared by internet user Reg Saddler on Twitter, the animal is seen crossing a street calmly. The weird part is that the animal appears to be a wolf at first glance and then if one looks closely, it appears to be a fox. However, it belongs to neither category. Amused by the same, the user captioned the post as, "Does anyone know what the heck this is?!"

The story doesn't say where the beastie was spotted.  It's native to S. America so I'm assuming it's somewhere there.

To me It looks like a long-legged brown hyena.

I forgot who it was, but some explorer was looking for them. Had to do with strange reports form Argentina or South Anerica some place.

My wife and I sit on the porch or walk the neighborhood, watch the squirrels and rabbits play, the hawks and eagles hunt and identify different birds.

She noted one day most neighborhood walkers had their face in their phones and probably never notice what we do.

It's so relaxing and natural and makes you feel part of the big scheme. I can see and feel humanity in general on a downward spiral with technology.
