Still Waters Posted December 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2022 (IP: Staff) · A woman has realised what happens when you get a little too close and personal with nature. Shakila was walking through the stunning and picturesque landscape of Kangaroo Valley in New South Wales. The name of the location certainly gives off the vibe that roos will be strolling around en masse. The tourist was pleasantly treated with an opportunity to pat one of the animals, even though you should definitely not do that. Roos aren't exactly placid or timid creatures. They will certainly get up in your grill if they feel threatened and it looks like that's exactly what's happened. https://www.ladbible.com/news/woman-gets-attacked-by-kangaroo-after-trying-to-pat-it-050920-20221214 https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11535689/Australia-kangaroo-attack-Tourist-attacked-kangaroo-Kangaroo-Valley-NSW.html 1 3 Top

'Walt' E. Kurtz Posted December 15, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2022 (edited) @Piney meh pfft for people trying to pet wild animals especially when it's quite possible for them to gut you with one kick. The red Kangaroo can get up to 1.80 m tall and weigh 90 kg. Edited December 15, 2022 by 'Walt' E. Kurtz 3 1 Top

Because dip**** zoos like Australia Zoo uses tamed animals in photo ops and dumb**** people end up thinking all such animals are safe, especially if they’re not carnivores. 3 Top

+Hammerclaw Posted December 16, 2022 #11 Share Posted December 16, 2022 I saw a guy try to pet an elk and get tossed for his trouble. Another time I had to warn a woman who tried to get close to a skunk and pet it. Nature is not a petting zoo. Even domestic animals like cows and donkeys will kill you. 5 Top
