The phenomenon, which was accompanied by loud "zapping noises", a flash of green light, lost power and barking dogs has the Gowen family of Glass House Mountains flumoxed. Fifth generation land owner Kel Gowen said he was woken about midnight on Wednesday by two loud "zaps". neen Posted May 16, 2003 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2003 I saw this on the news last night , they showed the flattened area's, but they didn't have an airial(sp?) shot so i couldn't make out any particular pattern.They also said that the electrical comp. had reported a power failure but couldn't determin the cause.
