Man who took juvenile son on 3-day road trip to the US Capitol for Jan. 6 arrested & charged

A man who traveled with his juvenile son from Great Falls, Montana, to Washington, DC, ahead of the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, was arrested and charged in relation to the attack earlier this month. Patrick William O'Brien was charged with three misdemeanors related to the Jan. 6 2021. Patrick William O'Brien, 54, was arraigned Thursday on three misdemeanor charges, including entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building, and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, according to the Department of Justice. Security and surveillance footage from the Capitol caught O'Brien and his son inside the building on Jan. 6, according to prosecutors.

The father and son entered through the first floor Senate Wing door and spent approximately 30 minutes inside, walking through hallways and waving a "Don't Tread on Me" flag, officials said. While inside the Capitol, O'Brien and his son stopped near a security desk and the boy took a red computer mouse pad and placed it in his pocket, the AP reported, citing court records. At least 978 people have been arrested in connection with the attack in the two years since, and more than 450 people have pleaded guilt.

They waved a Gadsden flag and the juvenile stole a computer mouse? …..It took the FBI 2 years to crack that case? 
 

He’s probably over 18 now and should be tried as an adult and have the book thrown at him. Deport him.

I look forward with great anticipation to seeing those 14,000 hours of video from that day that Nancy refused to release for two years.  I also look forward to subpoenas for people like Ray Epps and some of the FBI whistleblowers.  Get the OTHER SIDE of the story of that day out into the public view.  The DC Dems have already assembled a war room staffed with investigators and spin doctors to try to skew and slander and do whatever it takes to confuse the people with regard to actual evidence which contradicts the Dem narrative.  So be it.  The facts will be available for any who are interested.

Good morning Andthen, I have been waiting for your reply to this thread thanks very much for not disappointing me. I am very surprised along with being very disappointed in some forum members and anyone else that would support anyone taking a young juvenile child to an event like this. His father not only exposed him to an atmosphere where a child should not be, but he also put the child in danger due to the violence. Patrick William O'Brien, or numb nuts as he is being called on media sources nationwide should count his blessings Andthen.

It’s still very possible they will charge before trial his trial for Child Endangerment especially since there was a Far Right extremism element present at the Capital Insurrection!, the Justice Department wanted to charge him for that also, and someone intervened from the White House and prevented it. If numb nuts were charged they could remove his child from his care and have Child Protective Services (CPS) take over custody until the issues were settled, which would actually be appropriate under the circumstances in my opinion!

Dam good thing the Police didn’t use riot control agents to disperse the crowds which they should have, because the stampede would have ended with many deaths and serious injuries. They all should thank god I wasn’t in charge be cause I would have gassed them until they passed out and puked, because I have no dam use for insurrectionists. There is no other side the story  but what is amazing is that after two years a certain segment of the Republican Party ( Republican Conservatives that are RightWing and Far RightWing Extremists) still has preconceived notions they are unable to let go of!.

As far as spin doctors are concerned, it’s that same RightWing to Far RightWing Extremists who are spewing the propaganda, misinformation, disinformation, and blatant lyes. But, there is  very bright side to that also, the majority of the American People and especially Christians have seen the light. What, brought people around and changed everything was the transparency that the January 6, Committee gave the American people by broadcasting the Televised testimony of White Staffers, White House Legal Teams.

While many other federal Employees and also making certain all the testimony from the entire investigation is on YouTube for review and this shined that blinding light on the Propaganda, misinformation and disinformation being spread by the RightWing Conservatives and Far Extreme RightWing White Supremest’s, along with the other Radicals who hide their hate under the Republican Party banner in support if their leader the MAGA MAN himself Donald Trump a disgrace to the Republican Party and the United States of America.

Speaking of Ray Epps. He encouraged people to go into the capitol, except himself. Many went to prison while he remains free.

And why are the democrats defending an "allege" Trump supporter? I thought Trumpers were a threat to democracy.
