Well... Could be he really saw Hell, and how people are damned there. But IIRC going to Hell is a one way trip. AFAIK there's no "just visiting" in Hell, it's for eternity.

He doesn't say why he was condemned to Hell does he??

My guess, he was trippin' on the pain meds after they brought him back. That, or his brain thought he was dying and gave him what he thought he deserved.

I mean I'm not the biggest fan of Madmoiselle Rihana's songs, but her music is definitely not torture.
Is he sure Hell isn't just a giant dance party?

I've heard Greta Thunberg sing. That was ear torture.

As a actual autistic environmentalist, not a child Stockholming on their granny.  Everything she says is ear torture.

I was a Jimmy Carter environmentalist that always lived by the law of the minimum who, along with my wife took a land clearing company and turned it into woodland management company cutting profits in half.

And I'll tell any wannabe whose activities are yelling and holding signs they are do nothing losers.

Which is like 99% of all activist. Nothing says "I love the earth" than taking a private jet to tell people you love the earth.... that's some 4 D stupidity right there.

My question would be if he wasn’t medically declared brain dead and then managed to be revived how does that qualify as having died?

Very good point. I'm calling shenanigans. There is no proof in the article that he died. Perhaps a little meth was involved.

Plot twist: He gleaned the Islamic seven circles of Hell, and was only shown the first level.

Repent, and become a servant of the Creator before it's your doom.

The priest claims he could hear Rihanna's "Umbrella" and Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry Be Happy" being used as instruments for torture.

That's believable.

Hi Joc

No he didn’t but he may have been clinically dead briefly. My mom died and was revived during surgery and it affected her to some degree. I hadn’t lived at her home for many decades yet she was convinced that I was living in the basement or sleeping on the deck and would leave notes for me on the kitchen counter. I had been living in a different province for more than a decade so my sister called me and asked me to phone her to talk with her.

Even after calling her she would still at times think I was there so maybe this priest has some unresolved issues that are feeding this delusion.

Quite frankly Jmccr8, the definition of being dead is when they are NOT able to revive you...it really is completely irrelevant how long they do CPR on a patient.  If the patient is resuscitated then the doctor will tell the family...it was touch and go there for awhile but they are in ICU and their vital signs are stable.

The only time a Doctor will ever tell a family their loved one is dead...is...if they are in fact dead.  And when they call a code...they mark the time for the DEATH Certificate.   No Death Certificate...No Death.

All priests have unresolved issues or they wouldn't be priests!
