Mystery of dog-walker who has vanished

A possible theory: dog slipped out of its harness somehow and takes off. Miss Bully gives chase, accidentally leaving the phone on the bench. She is in a very secluded spot while looking and a guy comes along and offers to help her find the dog. At the first opportune moment, the guy grabs her, possibly at gun or knife point and abducts her. Forces her into a car or van, ties her up and drives away with her. He takes her to a private place and assaults her. He is still holding her hostage or, tragically, murdered her and hid the body so well, no one has discovered it yet.

Could be but the phone on the bench to me is odd. Its a bit too perfect in its placement and suggestive. I recon someone she knows is involved. I`d be checking out the witnesses, what other people at the school know her routine, was she having any affairs, do any known weirdos live around the area, etc.

The diving expert says he is baffled and leaving the phone may be a decoy. She has been abducted.Not necessarily by aliens, though it is possible.

Forensic expert Peter Faulding says the case has left him 'truly baffled' and that he doesn't believe the mother-of-two fell into the water, alleging that if she had drowned her body would have been found by now.

Sounds like you watch as many murder mysteries as I do.    I think that is plausible though because she could have been sitting on the bench and set her phone down when the dog took off.   OR her friend is lying and put the phone there after what ever happened, leaving the dog to make it look like something different happened.

Most people would have had their phone out while sitting on the bench.  Do phones hold info on what apps you may have been using last?  Was she taking a pick of the dog, on Facebook or something else.

Her phone was still logged into a work conference call which had ended, and phone on mute.  It’s all there in the original reports.  She often, apparently, took the harness off the dog if it was going to go into river for a swim, but it was bone dry when found.  I still think if she had gone into the water the dog would have gone in with her or after her (spaniels are notorious lovers of water) and even if it scrambled out while she drowned it would have been still wet when found. I am wondering if she was forcibly removed through the one gate to the area with no CCTV and was driven off leaving the dog behind which then went back to the place of the phone and lead/harness to be found there in an agitated state a little while later.  If only dogs could speak!

If I had to put my money on it I`d say the witness/friend is the most suspect.

After that someone who either visits the area or lives next to it, watching her daily routine, planning how to grab her.

It was muted, only she could do it, the thing is, the last person to have seen her was minutes away

Police have urged the public not to “take the law into their own hands” in the search for Nicola Bulley, who went missing 12 days ago while walking her dog.

Lancashire constabulary told amateur detectives not to abuse witnesses or attempt to break into empty or derelict buildings along the River Wyre near where she disappeared.

Though people “may mean well, they may want to help”, police are “taking a strong line” on criminal damage and harassment, lead investigator Supt Sally Riley said in a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

The interview of her husband on YouTube is odd.

No emotion, and a few times he starts smiling and has to stop himself: I know the police were asking people not to speculate on social media, but I think they might be right.

He would know her movements and there are photos of him with her on the same walk from the past. He would have access to her mobile, any passwords, know about her Teams meeting, and access to the dogs.

He isn`t upset, there is no emotion, he does look tired though.

Peter Faulding, the chief executive of Specialist Group International (SGI) said he “can’t get [his] head around” the fact that the mother of two has not yet been found.

He also warned that a “third party” could be involved, though police have repeatedly stressed they do not suspect foul play.

There's something cold about that missing woman's boyfriend, he gave a real weird interview and smirked during it. Even if he had nothing to do with her going missing, I don't like him anyway. People disappear all the time but it feels like this particular incident is fishy. It's like a Missing 411 case. Also it's weird how this is happening while Julian Sands is also missing. I don't believe she would've gone for a swim in the river in the freezing winter cold.

My theories:

Crazy Wife: They have an argument, she decides to dump everything and walk off. Now she is in the awkward position of not being able to come home due to all the fuss that has been created.

Secret Lover: She was having an affair, has dropped everything, and run off with her new lover. Her friend witness knows about this and drops the mobile and dog harness off by the river for her.

Raped & Murdered: A criminal or criminals want us to believe she fell in the river. As such when they have finished with her this is where she will probably go, albeit further down stream as the river has been checked. Maybe fishermen, maybe someone in the abandoned mansion, maybe someone in the caravan park, maybe someone in a vehicle next to the CCTV camera that wasn`t working.

Evil Husband: He seems emotionally flat to me, its odd. That says to me either they were having problems behind the scene and he knows she has run off. Or he has murdered her.

Lying Witness: One of the witnesses who knew her is lying and a part of her disappearance.

The diver who failed to find her in the river is now going to search the woods:

The diving expert who scoured the River Wyre for missing Nicola Bulley will start a new search on land in attempt to find where she 'could have been buried.'

She was likely jogging with the dog while on the phone, she loses something, tells the dog to stay by the bench and leaves the phone on the bench.

She was spy and has been recalled, while staging a scene to make it look like she has vanished.
